It is perfect, clean, quiet and set in a beautiful tropical garden. There are only a few bungalows which provide it with a private setting. Nice big rooms, good shower with constant hot water, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water provided daily along with clean towels. The owner is very attentive and absolutely charming. Location is superb, just around the corner is the beach. This is the second time we have stayed here and it gets better each time. Hopefully we will be back.
ps. If you are looking for a resort type property with the blandness that seems to part of that type of hotel, then this is not for you.

A perfect place to stay

The bungalow we had was a lovely room, bathroom, and balcony facing a GORGEOUS garden. The people are super lovely, we could hear the ocean and it was a 2 min walk to the ocean. The proprietor is a lovely lady, who seemed to be able to speak multiple languages and was very kind and accommodating. Good for smoking and non-smoking guests. Could not ask for a nicer place to stay.

Bungalows are fairly basic but had all we need - decent aircon, fridge, shower, safe, wifi etc - and cleaned daily. 
Lovely little veranda with table and chairs, also handy for drying swimming gear.

Brilliant location a two minute walk from Kamala beach and restaurants, but feels quite secluded in lush garden setting.

Owner Khatiya was very friendly and helpful, making up a bed on the floor for our toddler when she realised he was too big for the cot she had offered to provide. 

If you want entertainment, pools and catering (/cooking facilities), this isn’t the place for you. For us, on holiday with a toddler, wanting easy access to a beautiful beach and restaurants in a relaxed setting without too much fuss, it was perfect.

Simple bungalows 2 minutes stroll from the beach

In my point of view, the picture of the room you see is disadvantageous for the place. What you really get is a nice bungalow with a balcony and the room inside is a pleasant place to be in. Great location, very close to the beach. Very nice owner. The only bug was that when I was there, internet connection was so so.

Don't be fooled by the picture

Stayed in one of their bungalows for 4 days and it was good. Room is just right for a family of 3. Bed was comfortable and clean. Hot shower runs good. AC works good as well. There is a jar of water for sandy feet  at the balcony. Set in a nice garden. Kids had fun just playing around, looking for bugs or chasing Soda (a puppy). Bungalows are not beachfront but very close to the beach (about 5 minutes walk). Beach is clean and relaxing. When we were there, the reception desk was empty most of the time but otherwise they are helpful. Lots of mosquitos. We only got a bottle of water on the first day then never again while we were there, had to ask to get some more. No clothesline, nowhere to hang your wet swimsuit and towels but on the balcony.
