Have been coming here for 30 years my favourite hotel in the world, beautiful staff, wonderful gardens and great customer service that is very affordable plus you get to meet interesting people from around the world.

Heaven on Earth

I like the pool and being suntan by the pool. the gym is also great with full equipment, and you can go topless or shoeless if you like.

People told me there's a jacuzzi but I never find. I spent at least two hours by the pool, feeling so great.

anyway I had a great time at this place. the darkroom is cooler, if you need to chill, just go to the darkroom.

You can buy food or drink then charge to your locker key, then pay cash to the counter when you leave.

the price is flexible, it's cheaper on weekdays, higher on weekends.

the only downside about this place is you need to prepare your own safe sex protections. of course you can ask the front desk, but I am not sure if you need to pay or not.

I try to figure out if I had any bad experience at the place, No, I failed. I really had a great time.

I like this place

Went with my couple friends and stayed for 5 days at the duplex rooms near the garden at the back. Property itself is charming and quaint. The room is well maintained and spacious. Breakfast was awesome although the choices is limited everthing was delicious. The sauna, pool and restaurant inside is truly a gay man's paradise - guests vary from the older men to millennials. Up to you to find your preference. Recommended for single gay men looking to have fun. 

Bangkok Gay Retreat

This hotel always has everything on point. Staff is great, except the 2 guys in the sauna entrance.  They need better customer training.  The over weight one that takes your money always gas a face like he's smelling poop or something.  

The hotel / Barack's room ate well maintain and clean. The cleaning and breakfast ladies are always charming with all the gsy men staying there. 

Fun and more fun

Good hotel, super breakfast, nice sauna , clean and with all the amenities you can expect . Staff very polite and handfull. You can’t ask more for the price .
Easy to reach from airport by taxi in. 40 minutes ride

Best place in Asia

I have styed in Babylon from may around 2000 to 2020 at lease twice a year during my holiday, until this crazy life we are in now.It was generally fun and and I always cherish the memories form there. Th exhausting times in sauna and relaxing times later on the in the restaurants., thanks to al the guys and and victors made it possible. last time I was was there just before the lockdown started for in 2020. the good friends met, the break fast , the evening and nights. All will be remembered rest of my life. wish all those good times come back again..not sure will live to experience it again..hope Babylon management is working in the background to  come back to to a place even more exiting than before.

It was exciting

It may help to put in your description that this is, in fact, a gay resort. There may be some people who are unaware of that. Personally, I enjoyed the swimming pool and gym, as well as the sauna and bathhouse areas. The rooms were clean and breakfast was nice. But I find the extra charge for anyone over a certain age as very discriminatory!

Gay Resort and Bathhouse

The Babylon is one of the most popular and exciting gay Bed and Breakfast, Saunas in Bangkok. We appreciated the attentive staff, from cleaning staff to bar staff and those in the restaurants. That said... There is always room for improvement. 

Always a good choice...Men Only. 

This is our 3rd time to stay at Babylon.  We stayed in one of the penthouse rooms, which to our surprise, was rather small, but elegantly appointed,  We had a Juliet balcony overlooking the pool.  The pool, sauna, food, bar, breakfast - they all work together well at Babylon.  We find it a friendly place and enjoy meeting people from all over the world.  I will say that the price seems to be going up and up though compared to our first two visits without any visible improvements other than the reception area is now enclosed and air conditioned.. We had friends who opted out and took AirBNBs that were nearby and paid to get into the sauna/pool when they liked.  Bablyon in my opinion is catering to the gay crowd who is willing to pay almost anything just to be there.  I'm not sure if we'll stay there again on our next visit when there are such good AirBNB deals right around the corner.  But if you've never stayed there before, want the total Babylon experience and don't mind paying more than you really need to for the area, you should totally do it.

Babylon is Babylon

I did not intend ti visit this place, although I had heard a lot about it from my friends who regularly visit it every time they are in Bangkok. They suggested going. We had a company of 6, so we didn't need anyone else. The place itself is okay, the atmosphere is specific to such kind of places - everyone is looking for something, cruising. Not my kind of place.
We spent a nice evening,

What I liked:
tropical zone just in the inner yard from where you can get to sauna and hammam.
System with key to your locker (with 2 towels and 2 condoms) with a number, which is at the same time a bill you pay before you leave. 

I disliked: Only 1 waiter in the inner yard, sometimes we had to shout to call him,as it was twilight. Dirty chains on the doors, and lockers that are too close to each other, however it was an intention😂

Worth visiting and that's all. Keep it safe.
