We stayed here for two nights and it is a truly stunning place. The rooms in the treetop lodges are very spacious with huge, comfortable beds looking out over the treetops. The showers are to die for ! The main lodge is full of comfortable seating with understated luxury and the staff are in a class of their own. We were looked after by our ambassador Patrick and he was so friendly and attentive with the utmost high standard of customer care. But everyone who looked after us could not have done more. One of the many special things about Treetops is the watering pool as most days you’ll have a visit from wildlife - day or night. This place is magic and the wildlife you will see on your game drives would recommend Tarangire and essential stop if you’re planning a safari in Tanzania. Unforgettable stay with wildlife on your doorstep

Our first two days of our honeymoon in Tanzania were spent at Tarangire Treetops, and it was a fantastic way to begin an unforgettable adventure. 

From Fabiano to Anthony to Clay, the entire staff at Tarangire Treetops were so welcoming to us after a long couple of days of travel, while the attentiveness at all times was truly first class. 

The main lodge itself is a wonderful to begin your day at breakfast and is great at night for a sundowner — with a gigantic baobab tree featured right in the middle of the lobby. The food is unbelievable, and the fire-lit dinner in the boma was a great way to usher in our first night in Tanzania. The watering hole just beyond the pool also offers a great way to see wildlife. 

As for the room itself, what more can be said about a treehouse in the middle of Tanzania. The room itself is so spacious with a gigantic outdoor deck to enjoy a few drinks and relax after a long game drive. This was an absolutely unforgettable stay!

An unbelievable stay

This is a truly unique place and experience.  The treehouses are luxurious, but the location is the real treat.  You are actually out in nature in a very real sense.  While we were there a lion appeared within sight from our breakfast table, and at night buffalo and elephants drank from a watering hole that is right next the the lodge.  The tree that the main lodge surrounds is full of fruit bats that come out at night and eat all of the mosquitos, so the area is bug free.

The staff is wonderful and attentive.  They all came out to greet our group (9 people) and also to say goodbye at the end of our visit.  Very nice people.

Treehouse Adventure

Amazing hotel, amazing services.  Beautiful pool. Animals come by the hotel. We saw Buffalos, elephants and many more. Night drive with sunset was a success.  Juat loved it!!!!

Amazing. Wish we stayed longer.

Amazing all the way around. Luxury in the wilds of Africa . Elewana Tarangire Treetops may be one of my favorite places ever. Food was first class , fresh, creative and always good quality! The staff was superb, always welcoming and friendly. Our guide Alex was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Our head waiter Hemedi was the best in the business, so attentive and remembered our favorites! Really all the service staff was amazing ! Our Masai guides Loy, and Mr T were especially informative and delightful.

Wonderful start to our Tanzania safari!

This was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our Tanzania safari. Although it's part of a large African hotel chain, it felt very cozy and homely. The rooms were enormous and incredibly spacious. Out of all the places we stayed during our 9-day safari trip, this hotel offered some of the most flavorful food. Our group consisted of 25 people, and they arranged a special outdoor dinner by the pool, which was amazing. The staff were always smiling and went above and beyond without expecting anything in return. Behind the pool, there's a small watering hole that attracts various animals. We saw elephants, buffalo, and even some of our cousins spotted a lion along with many other wildlife. We also did night safari which was part of our package & highly recommend it. Even the lunch packed during the game drive was amazing.

Excellent location, staff, food and rooms!

Favourite hotel on Safari - just a shame to only be there one night. The rooms were super and spacious with amazing views. The food was exquisite and a really nice shared space built around a baobob tree. Very friendly and caring staff. Topped it all with lions visiting the watering hole during the evening. Highly recommended.

Super treetop experience

This was really the most best experience in years. The room was extraordinary perfect, sleeping in the trees. The lodge was very nice, the whole crew was perfect and kind. A warm welcome! Dinner among fire with the Masai and don’t forget the animals coming to drink at the pool. A special place in the Tarangire!

Special very good lodge

Elewana Treetops Lodge in Tarangire National Park was a superior highlight of our recent trip to Tanzania.  The picture here hardly does justice to the facility's beauty and the incredible Savana surrounding it.  The Baobab Trees on the property are stunning.  There are no fences here, so we heard many animals at night and saw many animals in the green area just beyond the gorgeous swimming pool while having breakfast.  The Food at Treetops was the best food we had anywhere in Tanzania.  The service was terrific.  Every night, we had dinner in a different location on the property.  Our Rooms were individual lovely cabins on Stilts that we were escorted to every night.  Treetops is a must-see property and a wonderful place to stay for as long as possible.

A Superior highlight of our trip to Tanzania!

Wow is all I can say.  This is a fantastic place to stay.  Elephant trumpeting this morning during breakfast.

First, the views are amazing.  The food is excellent and the service was fantastic.  The stairs up to the rooms take some getting use to, but will worth it.

The rooms are fantastic, large bathrooms and showers, bed was very comfortable.

The optional game drives were will worth the cost.

The road getting here is rough!!

Cannot say enough positive things.
