Weeee simchezo.kili was very very not easy (did not summit ).but the hotel was superb .the GM was fantastic, food was good (steak especially )and cleanliness was standard.i must come back again.just hold your breadth.

as i have already said, the staff did a lot of help to us, and the hotel manager is a friendly gentelman, since a bad guy rolled up all our money and gone away before the safari, my husband and i didn't bring to much money when been to Tanzania, and the snow crest hotel is our last stop before go back China. That night my husband want to eat dinner at hotel resteraunt but the credit card machine didn't work, for that case we went back to our room, after all lack of 1 dinner we could stand for it's okay, and not a big deal, but the hotel manager that gentleman heard about us story, he insist that we should eat our dinner, with the help of manager my husband and i didn't starve that night, which made us felt a big warm flow throughout whole body. And another staff maybe also a manager when hearing we come from China, he even excited and keep talking about former Chinese chairman Mao Ze Dong, he talked about the long relationship since Mao's time between China and Tanzania. My husband gave him 1 Chinese Yen as gift since that money printed Mao's head. that gentleman was so happy that smiled just like innocent child. The hotel is established in a small garden, decorated very unique, has a elevator inside convenient for large luggadge.

Can't fault this. Great room and great service.

Great massage. the bellman was excellent invited us to his home- not able to go. Met his son on our departure day. Very relaxing after our CA to Arusa trip.

We stayed here before climbing Kilimanjaro. It's a nice clean hotel with friendly staff.

Our bedroom was a twin with single beds. The rooms were clean with individual air conditioning units. Our room was close to the main hotel. Friends stayed in rooms on other floors and encountered the strangest staircases - sometimes you need to go down a staircase to get to a higher bedroom number. 

Back to the room, the bathroom was nice, with a glass walk-in shower. One of our friends found a had a half-full bottle of hand cream in the bathroom when he checked in.

We had vegetarian food in the hotel which was fine.

The wifi in the hotel was OK. We needed to sit in specific areas, and with a group of 20 of us, the wifi struggled.

There was a swimming pool in the hotel but we were only there for a night so we didn't get a chance to use it.

Snow Crest is an hour from the airport and two hours from Kilimanjaro. It's not particularly close to any town.

I love the staff and cleanliness. The service is fast enough and food was delicious. All the time in the restaurant I did not see a supervisor but nothing really wentt wrong. Rooms are clean and the bathrooms large enough with hot shower. Will recommend.

I stayed here recently for business, and found the hotel to be a slightly dated design. Hotel staff and porters were exceedingly helpful, but service was very slow in the dining hall (probably as we were a big group). The hotel very kindly opened the breakfast hall early one morning when we were going on a safari day, and we were pleased to see a full range of breakfast was available then. Sadly after getting back from the safari there was no hot water. No wifi availble in the rooms, and the plug in doesnt fit in my laptop. Layout of the hotel rooms was reminiscent of a Penrose Staircase when seeing people walking around and around the stairs searching for their rooms! No complaints at all

This hotel is good, but rather cold looking for Africa, if you are looking for a European or American standard hotel, you will be satified. The Hotel does not have much charm, but is very modern and clean, it also has a descent dining room (avoid the hamburgers, but everything else was OK). There is not much to do around the hotel, it is far from downtown and you will need a Taxi which can be expensive apx. $50 one way! The pool is nice. This was one of the most expensive hotels that we booked, but it was woth it. If you are in transit to do a safari in Arusha and need a good rest before leaving, it is a nice place to be.

Good and clean but not close to downtown.

I spent 3 nights in this hotel - 2 nights before my trek and 1 night after - and it was a very disappointing experience.  The main problem was the lack of hot water for showers.  I managed to have hot water on one occasion only and that was only after the Tour Leader complained.  The safe didn't work and there was green mould on the ceiling above the shower.  Wouldn't go back there.

Kili trek

The hotel did not have any information of my booking and they wanted me to pay again. The treatment was not at all friendly and I felt be treated like a criminal. There was no way of any amicable solution at all. Forget this hotel and/or check your booking system.
