Most of the hotels near Tainan Train Station are either out-dated or a bit far away, before we found Rainbow Island. It's a 8-minute walk from the train station, and the best part about it is breakfast. Once we'd checked in, we were told that there would be two breakfast coupons worth NT$100 on the table. Well, breakfast can be a headache for travelers because it is simply too DIVERSE! From traditional Tainan-style to continental, take your pick! We ended up choosing a breakfast shop (contracted with Rainbow) nearby selling rice noodles and redolent fish soup, and we only spent NT$20! Well, if you really want me to be persnickety, I would say it's a bit difficult to sleep late cause the flowing traffic can be heard outside the window.
