Firstly, I am really greatful and thankful for the house owner for taking care of me, not just as the guest but as a person. They are good people that cares truly and even with the language barrier they find a way to give help. To make the story short, I injured my ankle during my visit in Alishan mountain, and when I arrived at the house Uncle saw how I walked and told him that I sprained my ankle and now I can't even walk properly. I told them that I was fine but they insist and Uncle drive me to the traditional doctor which a friend of him. I am blessed to find these people's hospitality and genuinity. The only thing traditional doctor's medicine is really good that I can walk the next day, with extra careful as my feet was still bandaged. It was simple and great to stay if you're target is Alishan and Fenqihu.It was peaceful especially if you gonna roam outside the town. You can you don't want to miss the sunrise, but most, if you don't want old weather, the elephant mountain, the tea plantations and tea itself. Try to spend a time with your to savour their special tea's and and traditional preparations. You can you'll enjoy it😊I stayed for one night. The room is good enough to block the room cold weather outside as I travelled on earlier of May. The room is big enough for me; the queen bed with double layered duvet/blanket which helps me sleep comfortably (especially with my swollen ankle). The small bath tub is interesting with hot water. Simple room for a simple night. Don't expect too much as it wasn't a five star hotel. The place is really accessible if you are going to Alishan. Google the location and just drop at the certain bus stop and cross the road and you'll gonna find it. Though you need to ask somebody as I didn't see signage from the house. I'm happy to find and stayed on this place❤️
