We stayed in 2 family rooms of 4 pax in each room on the 2nd and 3rd floor. No lift, pure staircase. There are only 3 storeys. The rooms were spacious with balconys and very pretty. When we first stepped in, we were excited to take pictures. We were however taken aback to know that we could only pay by cash for TWD8400! There was no indication in our booking that we needed to pay by cash. We were thus faced with cash flow problems due to this unexpected cash payout. Breakfast was continental breakfast, cooked by the owners which includes bread, egg and bacon. The breakfast was quite decent. Minsu is far away from railway station and very hard to locate. I suggest to cab from train station to the minsu. It will probably cost less than TWD100. Do not leave valuables in the room. On one occasion, I accidentally unlock another room with my own room keys as I forgot where my room was. There are altogether 8 rooms in the minsu. In other words, there are also other tourists staying in the same minsu. Staying in someone's place, means that you got to be a bit tidier and follow house rules like wearing slippers and throwing toiletpaper into the waste paper basket instead of flushing it down the toilet bowl, as it will clog. Quite a different thing from staying in hotels.
