This is an excellent Minsu, clean and well appointed with local crafts and carvings. And if you want to see the beauty of Taitung and the secret places spend some days with Mr. Huang. My kids 8 and 11 loved it. We will go back. For doing some small treks take a pair of long pants and proper closed shoes and for being out in the early AM or late afternoon, take bugspray. If you love the outdoors, adventure and Taiwan food, Taitung and this minsu are for you! We will go back. We almost don't want to tell anyone about Taitung, because it is so special.
