Bull-August gård vandrarhem/hostel

There are not many good overnight options in the archipelago - if you don't want to camp and face the insects - so we were pleased to find the youth hostel on Arholma. The island is about 6-8 kilometers from one end to the other and Bull-August hostel is more or less in the middle, about 15-20 minutes walk from the main harbour (where there's a well stocked store). Accommodation is fairly simple: spotlessly clean rooms with comfortable beds, a large well-equipped kitchen where the hostelers can cook own meals, an attractive common room with games, books, TV, etc. and a large grassy yard with tables and chairs, outdoor games, children's playhouse, etc. It's not a luxury hotel, but we were satisfied nonetheless.
