Me and 7 other guys booked this lodge for a bachelorparty. It was perfect for a evening and night with barbecue, drinking good whiskey and playing pool. Good sounds system on both floors and overall a very luxurious lodge. Can't really complain on anything!

Fantastic Bachelorparty

Akagardens  was a great vacation rental.  It helped you to experience the Swedish countryside.  It was clean, charming and comfortable.  The location to the Baltic and the adjoining towns, excellent.  We loved the area.

Sweden At It;s Best

Great house, beautifully furnished, wonderfully light and warm. We always relax here and rather wish we owned the house in fact. Proximity to the golf course was good for us but it would still be a great place to stay if you aren't at all bothered about golf.

A little oasis

Amazing Kennedy style Swedish house complete with beautiful gardens and swing and stately driveway. The house is beautiful and a lovely space to be in and decorated in true Swedish style. Perfect for families and perfect holiday house. We also loved being a little out of town so we could enjoy the beautiful drive everyday into town (although a supermarket very close) and see the Swedish countryside. On the downside, some things are a little outdated and temperamental including the stove top and pool table and only single beds which isn't great for couples even if they are pushed together. There also could be a few small touches made at very low cost to the owner to make the stay more enjoyable and without annoyances. There were no essentials provided - no soap, no tea or coffee, limited products to wipe benches and wash dishes, limited serviettes and towels and no hairdryer (however both came on request), no board games or cards and no music system. We rent out holiday properties ourselves and feel these things are necessary for an enjoyable stay. The first thing you want to do when you arrive is have a cup of tea and a shower rather than head to the supermarket to buy bulk products, many of which you'll only use a fraction off. Cia was lovely to communicate with and we had a fantastic stay. Bastad is a lovely coastal town - don't miss the sauna on the pier!

Kennedy Style Vacation

Perfect place for a visit with family or friends. If golfer, couldn't be located better in the middle of the golf course. Very quite and a very private place with all you need in a house. There's even a spa bath.
