What an incredible beautiful place to stay! Betsy and Gary do an amazing job in order to make you feel the best they can. They really are dedicated to their clients! 
The garden they created is surrounded by the magical hummingbirds. They’re always willing to show animals around. They were exceptionally nice! You can walk around in the jungle, with all the sounds of the howling monkeys, and infinite numbers of birds. 
The room was beautiful and extra clean. You can fall asleep with the sound of the waves , it is a paradise!
And one thing that is very important to me, they are ecologically extremely responsible and they try to protect and develop endangered species that lives around them.
We will go back as soon as we can.
Don’t hesitate! Just go!

Heaven!

We had an evening meal here & found the staff so friendly & welcoming especially our waiter. The food looked amazing & was well cooked & delicious. we enjoyed a lovely quieter intimate evening away from the noise of the town & definitely will return.

Excellent evening meal

We were upgraded to a cabana overlooking the pitons. The food and bar were both amazing and it’s a short walk into town and a short ride to Anse Chastanet beach which is amazing. The owner is so sweet and so is everyone else who works there. Get a cab to Bouchlan for dinner.

Awesome!

A bit pricy, but totally worth it. Best food on Saint Lucia (if not the Caribbean). Calamaris=10/10, garlic bread= 10/10, chicken=10/10, sirloin=10/10, creol Fish=10/10, pasta=10/10. We’ll definitely be back! Tippolini and Sayonara Crews

Best food on Saint Lucia

My girlfriend and I were visiting St. Lucia for my birthday and we had a recommendation to eat at the Hummingbird Resort. By far one of the best meals all week. The catch of the day was a grilled fish and the appetizer was beyond great. If you are visiting Soufrière, you must come and eat for dinner. We’re here for another couple of days and will more than likely do lunch too!!!

Food Amazing

We loved the view of Petit Piton and the sea from our room's balcony, the pool deck, and the restaurant at breakfast. The staff is kind and helpful. We walked down the steps to the beach and were provided with towels, lounge chairs, and an umbrella. The dinner we had at the restaurant was delicious, and the breakfasts were good. We walked into town to try other restaurants. The staff set us up with a driver who took us to wonderful spots around Soufriere. His name was Alexander, but his nickname was The General. He was terrific. One day we took a water taxi from Hummingbird Beach to Anse Chastenet--efficient and gorgeous ride, 

Staying here has a major drawback, however. On weekend nights music from beach parties is very loud and goes late. Aware of this, we made a reservation elsewhere for the weekend,

Beautiful View, Great Location

This was our go to spot.  We stayed in a condo on the hill for 2 weeks.  We walked to the beach everyday and had a swim.  Around noon, we wandered into the Hummingbird and enjoyed lunch, drinks and their pool.  It was small but a nice change to the beach.  We were there so often the girls recognised us.  Very friendly staff.  We would definitely recommend this place. 

January 2019 visit

We did not had our stay in this resort, but we did go here to have a dinner because it was recommended to us.
And we did have a very nice dinner. The staff was kind and the food was very tasteful. We also had a very nice view on the pitons.

Good food

Spent five nights here and the rooms are really getting a little tired. Lights in hallway and bathroom didn’t work from the switch but the bathroom light had been wired in to a power socket, took 2 days to get a key for the safe and mosquito net had holes in it. First nights sleep was ruined by karaoke from next door (obviously not the hotels fault) which the reception said would end by 10 but was still not finished by 11.30 when I put my earplugs in. No hot water on one morning. Breakfast could have been more generous for the price. 
Restaurant food was probably the best in the area but on the expensive side and the cost of a bottle of wine was really over the top.
On the positive side the gardens are beautiful and the location is right by the sea
 Personally for the money they charge I wouldn’t stay here again basically due to the noise pollution from the nearby bar/restaurant complex and the basic state of the rooms

Really not what we expected

We ate here twice during our 5 days in the area. We usually don't eat twice in the same restaurant - always looking for new dining experiences. Only if we were blown away by the visit do we return for another shot. (Note: This happened in Rodney Bay at Razmataz Indian Restaurant.) But, this being over Christmas, many places were closed. Our first dinner was very good - timely, friendly service, appropriately priced, very good quality food, nice atmosphere. The second time, they really dropped the ball. It took what seemed to be forever to get the meal out to us (and other diners). When it came, my wife was not impressed with her meal. Luckily, I suppose, I was not hungry so I can't say anything about meal quality. But, it was a major drag with the service from beginning to end on the 2nd visit. So overall, this experience is "Good".
