We had a week here in a very spacious room with balcony from where we could see the sea. We had good Sri Lan breakfast and dinners also.
 Unfortunately during our stay I had a medical problem but the owners were quick to help and arrange for me to be taken to a hospital. We then had to make a hasty retreat to the airport as a curfew was imposed. Again the family were more than helpful in assisting us to get to there.


A good choice for us

Hotel is located close to the beach. You should wake up early and enjoy sunrise ;) Staff is friendly and helpful. They will help you with any problem ;) Rooms very clean and spacious.  Definitely worth to recommend. I will choose them again.

Perfect stay

We loved staying here. The rooms are large and pretty. Its a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in Tangalle (through a resort.) Staff were friendly. Limited selection of food at the restaurant but nice breakfasts. Would definitely stay Herr again.

Amazing stay

Placed right besides the lagoon, where you can take a seat and maybe enjoy dusk or dawn in nature-close harmony! We stayed in the private bungalow, witch was very comfortable with a nice doublebed and a fresh bathroom. Our neighbors were a group of monkeys who hung around on the bungalow roof and in the surrounding trees. The family who runs the guesthouse is amazing. They are nice, warm, very helpful and just lovely! 
Didn't want to leave. They also have a restaurant and the breakfast was really good. 
I heartily recommend Beach Lagoon Guesthouse for anyone who wants a hide-away, calming vacation. 

Love it! 

we booked by booking.com and checked the day before if its really working cause we heard that often bookings were forgotten! cause of the nice staff there everything was working. but short before we arrived another couple had to go even if they booked. lot of times they are overbooked...
but then the problems started... we booked a deluxe room and got the normal one. but when we wanted to pay the owner said we have to pay the deluxeroom price!!! room was dirty and bed not very confortable. 
only the location and the local staff was supernice!

not so nice

Very nice place to stay with big, clean rooms. The family also Cooks  very good! Everything about this hotel is Great! Location, food, great hots only one thing is  very bad: its overbooked sometimes! They always got problems with the bookings from  booking.com, because they have got a external manager aranging this stuff and calls the hotel when they got a booking. But serveral times the family know to late they had a booking and Let other guets stay there. We also had to go to another hotel for one night, but afterwards we stayed 3 night here at beach lagoon and that was very nice! But still they got to solve the booking.com problem because every Day (EVERY DAY!) People had to go to other hotels Due to overbookings! IF you call directly to the hotel after you booked its no problem most oF the times

Nice place 

We stayed over a week (main building) and had a great time. Spacious, very clean rooms with fan & good mosquito-net (which you need). Terrace to spend the hottest hours of the day in the shade with view on sea, palmtrees and lagoon. Friendly & helpful family. Very good price-value. They have a lovely dog also :)
