A fantastic hotel in a perfect location, a beautiful old colonial building. We had a fabulous room (there are only 4!)  with doors out to the garden, swing egg seats and a great view down to Kandy, the lake and The Temple of the Tooth. Only 10 min walk down, abit longer back up as it is steep! We had breakfast out in the garden, looking at the view. The staff were very pleasant and attentive, and they, and the manager, Sydney were very friendly.

I choose this hotel because I love history, art deco and colonial architecture. Well what a spoil this place is, I feel like I stepped back in time and was in a movie. So beautiful the view, the service and staff are simply divine so happy to help or assist at the drop of a hat, the food was absolutely delicious also. I’m a vegetarian and they made me the most beautiful Sri Lankan vegetarian feast. The grounds are very well kept and the view to the temple of tooth was perfect. 10 out of 5 stars ✨ thank you so much to the staff and caretakers of this beautiful historical jewel 💎

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautifully restored 100year old home. The gardens and view were amazing! Perfect location to walk to the temple and dinner! Nihal and his staff were fabulous! The room was clean,  large and super comfortable. Could not recommend more highly as a place to stay in Kandy.

The Bungalow is a beautiful spot to relax and take in the view of Kandy Lake.

This beautiful Villa which was established in the beginning of the 20th Century has a wonderful Garden a sensationell view to the lake. With his only 4 rooms enables a private and friendly atmosphere. Thank you for staying here and being your guest!

We  stayed one night at this bungalow. Environment is calm,quiet and traditional.The staff is very helpful and they treated us well. This place consists of very rare scenarios like the tooth relich and kandy lake. We would recommend this place for anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty and the calmness of Kandy City.

We had a 2 night stay at this small 4 roomed hotel. 
The staff here are the perfect hosts. Akila could not have worked harder to ensure we enjoyed our stay.
The rooms are huge and beautifully furnished including four poster beds.
The gardens surrounding the hotel were just stunning with birds singing.

A quiet clean and spacious haven close to the heart of Kandy overlooking the Temple of the sacred tooth and lake. Service was perfect and always a smile.  Nothing was too much trouble.  The hotel is set in beautiful gardens, with four very large bedrooms. Would highly recommend staying here whether you are a family or a couple. You can only imagine the parties and entertainment the house historically used to have!

An oasis of tranquillity after the chaos of Kandy.  The room was just beautiful and spacious.  Very comfortable bed. There is a large ceiling fan which was enough for us but there is also aircon. The bathroom is spotless with a decent sized shower and a full compliment of toiletries. The staff were especially attentive, friendly and very helpful. The beautiful gardens are immaculate, very pleasant to sit and relax in, with lovely views over the lake and temple which are a short walk down the hill. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A stay here.
