Love the place and its surroundings. You can easily take a Tuk Tuk from the main road to reach Anette Villa. The Owner of the Villa is supportive and knowledgeable. You can get his advises to plan sightseeing or to book an excursion. 

This property is located right on the river. It is immaculate. Beautiful gardens, beautiful house and relaxed helpful staff. Should have stayed there longer! Wifi was fast enough for Netflix in the room and out. Breakfast was normal Sri Lankan offering, but at the same time, awesome, again delivered in a relaxed mediterranean style. It's a little difficult to find and 200rs from the main road. Ask for temple road, it's a grey bricked road, turn left a few meters after a blue line going across this and follow it around onto an unsealed section and then a sealed section and it is right there. If you have the app Maps.me (previously known as maps with me) it is actually on there.

I stayed there for 3nights it is new and clean homestay in a quiet place on the river and the view is amazing on the river with very nice hammock if you like to relax this is the place for you a complete isolation from the world and there is free bikes you can see the surrounding nature in the area also you can use the kitchen as you like .but the problem is that it is 4km far from the town and there is no nearby shops or restaurants the shop you have to walk for 10 min to find local shop for snacks or fruits only but if you want to eat you have to ask the owner for a tuktuk to take you to the town (400lkr ) and you can't take the bike in the evening because outside is completely dark and not easy to find yourway only in daylight you can . Second thing as other reviews said is that it is not easy to find the villa even the locals don't know but some tuktuk drivers they know and the exact map for the place on the mobile app (maps.me) but overall it is a very nice and quiet place if you like full relaxation and you will enjoy the view

The Best Location and Very Modern Villa 

Yays: Beautiful view of the Bentota Ganga. beautifully decorated property. good for some laid-back time. cycles available to get around. Kitchen with refrigerator, gas stove and cutlery available for use.
Nays: Location marker was completely wrong, have suggested an edit. So please check the date of this review. Bit of a dead place since it's badly connected from beach. Even locals in the neighborhood have not heard of it. Caretaker is a Bob Marley wannabe who works at his leisurely pace and lounges around whole day. If you use the kitchen, you have to wash the utensils yourself. 

Look for other options if they are in same price range

my friend booked online and arrived at hotel on 31Dec, but staff said all room are FULLY BOOKED and no compensation provided to him. Left him stranded with a place to stay. Rude manager with very shallow minded. Netizens, please avoid this villa.
