This place is not the kind of hostel I would normally go to. I'm usually looking for party hostels bug after a week across these islands, somewhere quiet where I could just lie in bed and do nothing for a few days was what I was looking for. In that regard, this hostel is great for a detox. There's nothing really to do around, it's not walking distance to the beach. Wifi is a joke. Cuts in and out. These convenient stores nearby and a nice park to hang out in. There's also no air con so I wouldn't stay here in the heart of summer. Also no lockers which is annoying.

Great for detox

For 22€ per night you sleep in a room with 16 beds. In the room with 4 beds there are no windows. Room are never cleaned. Toilet was quite dirty. Breakfast not included. There was no kitchen to cook, just a fridge that the last day was broken and tables.
The only nice thing is the terrace were you can rest an meet people. 

Not clean and too expensive

This is the less expensive accommodation for a backpacker. That's all the positive side of this hostel. It's far from the center (10 min drive), no parking, no comfort, noisy, no air conditioning, you have to pay extra if you want a small locker, ... Well, let's say it's just clean, free wifi, large terrace, kitchen.

Only for the price

I'll start with the good, which I can list off very quickly: The terrace is very nice and spacious, the location is good, they rent out bikes and there's a gym (although, who's going to use that while on vacation?).

As for the bad, I will qualify this by saying I stayed in the 18-person dorm, so I didn't choose the best option nor most comfortable option. The dorm is located in what is essentially the attic or loft of the building, and its especially cramped with the sloped ceiling. There's lots of room on the ground to put your belongings (in the areas where you have to crouch down), and there are no nightstands nor lockers. The rooms are very hot and humid as compared to outside, and while they have plug-in fans you can use, they don't help much if you're on the top bunk. 

Speaking of the top bunks, the top of the ladder going to the bed is about a foot or so from the ceiling, so you can't climb onto it the normal way. Good luck getting into bed without waking up the person below you. 

The smaller dorm is located directly below and you can hear every noise coming from down there, so it's really more like you're in a dorm of 24-30 people. At any given point in the night, there's at least 2 people tossing around and wobbling their screechy bunk beds.

Finally, the "kitchen" consists of a sink, a little bit of plastic silverware and a microwave, along with some tables and chairs. Don't plan on cooking anything while you're here.

Overall, it's one of the few affordable places to stay on the island if you're on a tight budget, but at the same time it's missing a lot of the features you would normally expect and the layout of the building is suboptimal.

Too crowded and zero useful amenities

Horrible place to stay. Staff members are rude, specially the owner of the hostel. As you can see in the pictures, there is no kitchen and there are a fridge which it’s supposed to be cleaned up everyday by the staff but in 5 days that we stayed the fridge wasn’t cleaned up at all , a toaster was supposed to be in the kitchen but when we arrived there wasn’t any. So you count with a microwave and a dirty fridge. The trash can In the kitchen it’s full of dirt that you can smell it while you’re eating. On the other hand, the humidity in Menorca is a real problem for tourists and in the hostel you have air conditioning in the rooms that they only put every other night. The staff didn’t give us any touristic info when we asked. Finally, one night, a women next to my bed, was drunk and she started yelling and laughing so hard that we couldn’t sleep good enough. It’s a cheap place and this is why.
