The pension was very clean with basic amenities. 
We went in October and our room got quite chilly in the evening but there was no heating. 
One thing I would advise is that you look for a price comparison on booking.com or any other site as taxes were included in their prices, which were not honoured when pointed out. 
The staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Pension Can Tor for one night and were very satisfied with our experience. The b&b is situated perfectly in the most charming part of town, it doesn't get more central than that. The hosts were very friendly and everything was very clean. Breakfast was not outstanding but ok and it can get a bit noisy at night due to the location. However, we really enjoyed our stay there and considering the price I think it's a great place to stay in Tossa de Mar.

Great Value

The staff are extremely friendly and willing to help with everything. The rooms basic but very clean and well maintained. Great location ( walk straight onto the street and feel like a local but with minimal noise when in room.) The breakfast is simple but has quality and charm. I really loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone who wants a lovely atmosphere and setting for a ridiculous cheap price!

Great Pension for a great price

I spent 7 nights here with my sister. The location couldn't be better, near to the city walls and the beach. Family owned, very clean and friendly. The price included breakfast which was served to us each morning - coffee or tea and fruit juice, processed meat and cheese, bread roll, croissant and selection of jams. By the end of the week we longed for some variety of toast or muffin, cereal etc. But wonderful cake and coffee shop nearby for mid morning treat. 
Good, free internet access in the room. 
The biggest minus point for me was no reading light by the bedside. There was one central light on the wall between the two beds so reading in bed while the other occupant wanted to sleep felt anti social. 
Another minus point is only one electric socket to charge mobile phones etc and this is in the bathroom! 
Third minus point is the hot water boiler. Scalding hot water for the first shower but you have to wait 10 to 15 minutes for the water to heat for the second shower. If you have an early morning flight and you want to shower this could cause a problem. 
We had very few coat hangers. I asked for more and was given 2. Maybe the owners think most Brits like to drape their clothes over the back of a chair which is where mine spent the 7 nights. 
The room was small and dark and although the entrance hall had a sofa it too was dark and not the sort of place to relax and read. Having said that, it was a good and cheap base ( 46 euros per room per night in May) so money left over to enjoy the many restaurants nearby.

Basic but cheap in a very good location

We stayed here for nine nights in July. It was a pleasant surprise. The room was quite large as was the bathroom. The hotel was very clean. A couple of ladies ran the hotel, I think it's family owned. Very nice, professional touch. It's a simple pension, not a luxury hotel, but I would say that you get very good value for your money. The breakfast was the same every day and you don't have a choice (maybe if you ask for it, we didn't try), but it's filling. And the location! Right in town, a few minutes from the beach. We're very pleased.
