The week at Maria Rosa was great ,close to the beach, and the main man mister Raul, make it all perfect.Bless up all of you .maibe in the morning it is some noise from the people who bring  barrels with beer,but they do  it for us !!!Good people ,clean rooms ,close to beach,what do you want more?Enjoy the life!!!

Very friendly staff and cheaper than average restaurant that we came across. Hugo and Aperol Spritz cocktails for €3.50! We sat outside and people watched in the sunshine which was a great way to finish off our day of visiting Costa Brava. Additionally snacks served with drinks which we appreciated!

Cheap and cheerful restaurant

I have spent a week at Hotel Maria Rosa with my boyfriend. 

The accomodation of the hotel is perfect. The beach is appr. 100m from the hotel. If you ask then you'll get a room with a view. 
The owner and her family and staff is extremely nice & helpful.The hotel and the rooms are clean.
Unfortunately, there's no parking place near to the hotel but you can find some near to it. When unpack and pack in it's allowed to drive in.
As we've read it this part of Tossa de Mar is quite noisy because every morning at about 4am the cleaning staff works on the streets. 

Another thing is that the breakfast is the same every morning but you can find many shops and restaurants. 

You can go on hiking to the near little and not crowded beaches or you can visit Barcelona. By car it's just about an hour. 

All in all, we have spent a wonderful week in this town. :)

Nice & correct

The family are lovely and the location is excellent for a very affordable price!! The rooms are very basic but clean... There's enough amenities to get showered and sleep, but lacking in other aspects (i.e. no air conditioning / dressing table / mirrors...) Unfortunately we all agreed we wouldn't return because safety (personal and wellbeing). They don't offer safety deposit boxes, the stairs are dangerous, the locks on the doors are hit & miss and there are no smoke alarms / sprinklers in the rooms.

I've been here with my girlfriend for our summer holiday....the stuff is really really nice and kind.
Daily room cleaning and everyday clean towels. In the centre of this amazing village. If I'll go again to tossa will be again to hotel Maria rosa

Tidy and comfortable!!

It was our first trip to Tossa de Mar. The hotel is located in great place: easy to find, amazing views from the balcony - beaches on the one side the main tower of castle remnants on the other. Owners were very kind and english speaking, help us in every situation starting with were to fo information finishing with lending the hair dryer, ligher or beach ubrellas. Rooms were cleaned every day, we got a new pack of towels daily. Rooms itself were cosy and clean. The only disadvantage - noisy street, it took me 2-3 nights to get used to it, but great hospitality and location compensated the shortage. Fully recommend for budget travelers. Exceeded the expectations. Visited in July of 2015.
