We wanted to stay in a charming Baix Emporda pueblo with good restaurants close to the coast but far enough away from the crowds and Can Barrull hit the spot. The home made breakfasts were superb, the building was stone built typical for the area and Carmen (the owner) was the perfect host and a mine of information. This is an excellent place to stay to explore the Emporda region. We are looking forward to our next stay at Can Barrell very soon to further explore the area on our bicycles.
