Canary Garden Club

This hotel is so calm and relaxing. We came for the first time last February with three daughters (11, 13, 17) and loved it so much we returned this year. Yes, there’s not much around but this is part of its charm. It’s the only all inclusive we’ve been to where the food is absolutely delicious every night, plus you can order off menu at lunchtimes. It isn’t your typical huge, busy AI hotel and you don’t have to fight for a sunbed ever. There’s a bus stop nearby which takes you to busier resorts (Las Inglés - tacky but fun, Amadores - swish but busy, Mogán - classy but expensive) regularly. The beach is about a 30 minute walk away but the walk is lovely down Barranca de Fataga which is huge empty riverbed, plus you get to walk past the amazing sand dunes. The hotel also puts on a free shuttle bus to the beach every hour, as well as a return bus. Taxi is about €5. Meloneras is a lovely resort with plenty of restaurants and beachside bars to watch the sunset at. The hotel is immaculately clean and the bungalows are super tasteful and private. The staff are friendly and service excellent. Nighttime entertainment is slightly ropey but that didn’t affect our experience at all. Highly recommended if you like calm, quiet hotels.
