We stayed in Chalet #1 for a week at the end of February and although we were a bit unlucky with the amount of sunshine, we had a wonderful holiday, not least because of our very relaxing stay at the Chayofa Country Club. From the first to the last minute, everyone we met on site was friendly and helpful and had big smiles to greet us, despite the unusual heavy rain at times. We are often humbled on holiday at how widely and well English is spoken abroad, and Chayofa was a great example, which was very reassuring, especially as we had booked right at the last minute when our planned accommodation fell through a day before we travelled. The living space was very generous and light and airy and we particularly liked our balcony view over the tennis courts and out to the sea in the distance. We had a hire car, which I think helped with this location, which is a short way up into the hills above Los Cristianos. There was plenty of parking, even though with all the visitors to the tennis academy, it was a daily game of find the spare spaces! We travelled all over the Island, with El Medano, Costa Adeje, Los Gigantes, El Tiede National Park and San Juan being some of our favourites. I also have to mention the on site restaurant, El Corazon, which was great, both in terms of food quality and value. The staff were extra friendly too!! They offer a 3 course meal for 15 Euros every night and I was impressed with the variety and range of dishes on offer. I would definitely recommend this place for couples with a car and will likely book again if I return to the island.

Grate staff grate place nice clean in one word awsome :) good restaurant apartment was clean and look awsome receptin staff is nice helpfull good place to holiday with familly and friends . I will be back :)

Holiday

Stayed here for a week and it was lovely! Apartment was nice and clean, and really spacious. I would like to thanks Magui Duran on the reception for her ***** welcoming and the lovely smile on her face she welcome us in the professional way thank you so much one more time.
 And The restaurant and bar staff were lovely. The food in the restaurant was amazing, we had dinner there 3 of the nights we was there. The banoffee pie was the best we ever tasted, gutted we couldn't of had it again as it was only on a set daily menu. There wasn't much to do around the hotel, but Los Cristianos and playa de las Americas is only about a 10-15min bus journey, and the bus stop is right outside. Overall a great place to stay.

stayed a week . well equipped apartment for four . weather not the best but still in shorts . apt bit cold at night. bar and restaurant very good . supermarket bit pricey but had car and shopped in mercadona with the locals.. great base for los cristianos and las americas, bus stop outside. would definately return.. reception business like but friendly  !!

peaceful week in tenerife

Sadly had to take off one star, otherwise it would have been a ding ding ding 5 star review.

Unfortunately we had to deal with ‘the receptionist’ when we arrived, not even a hello, welcome, to the resort, on arrival we where initially ignored, first impressions and all that.  

We where just asked for passports, sign relevant documentation etc, I asked could our two apartments be closer together we where told no, as the resort was full, however, it became apparent from day one it wasn’t!

Other family members found her more helpful a day later, but seems to be a lack of consistency.

Given maps we managed to find our way to our rooms, which where excellent, clean spacious and comfortable for a family of six, four adults two children, an ensuite room, and a separate bedroom, with added benefits of additional bathroom and WC.  

There was a sofa bed in the lounge for our smaller family members.

We had a lovely spacious kitchen area, with all the utensils and equipment needed for our stay.

Two balconies, huge, one overlooking the pool, we where really spoilt.  

I would add a note of caution the other 6 in our party where all adults and the sofa bed simply was not adequate for theirs needs, perhaps more forward planning needed on our part.

The site was very well maintained, great sized swimming pool and plenty of sun-beds, the pool itself given the time of year was pretty chilly, but the kids certainly made the most of it.  Life guard was lovely.

Bar area and staff where brilliant, and bar snacks where good value, and freshly prepared, and tasty, as along with the local beer ‘Dorada’ again was good value for money.  

They have started a new all inclusive for the day €30 for adults, however I can’t remember child prices and we didn’t take advantage of this offer.

Bus stop a short walk from the complex and a fairly regular service into Los Cristiano‘s, bus times in reception, be warned it does get very busy.  Taxis vary in prices €7 - €13 depending on time of day.

All in all an excellent stay very happy to recommend to others and would be very happy to stay here again, in fact we are planning to do that again next year.  Thanks for hosting us. 



Great stay and well worth a visit

I liked all other services and staff but there was so rude older receptionist that i rather was not using her help at all...did't listening and was so unkind person.Why is she at that kind of work if she hate that...

Bad service at reception!!

Nice hotel, clean. Fab pool area. Staff are fantastic. Food is good. And happy hour was the best! Although extremely lacks in entertainment. We was told to turn our speaker off near the pool as there were residents living next door. Entertainment at night was the owner singing on karaoke. Fab hotel if you like peace and quiet. Otherwise it’s Taxi rides to pubs / clubs. Roughly 14€ single trip.
