Ours is a tale of woe, and great disappointment. If I can summarise the following review in a single sentence it would be this: Avoid The Inn on Pine at all costs. Ignore this message at your peril.

The Inn on Pine is, for our purposes at least, located in an excellent location, and I feel this might be the single reason they still exist. The moment you drive up to the intercom, the reality of the situation hits home. Rust on the intercom, that's attached to collapsing wall, welcomes you into the very dated and neglected Inn, surrounded by old, frayed and rusted fencing. Everywhere you look is evidence of an establishment that has given up trying to maintain any kind of standard. 

No towels? Too bad, we'll give you ONE, 24 hours after asking for it. Clean your room? Oops, we lost our key, so we'll clean it now that you've come back. Breakfast? No, you'll be served in your room as the restaurant isn't in use at the moment. 5-Star amenities, hahahah. No. The joke is on you. Threadbare blankets, cupboard doors of their hinges, a DSTV selection that isn't viewable, a hairdryer that 'was stolen', plugs that were stripped, one bar of soap, and room that reeked of smoke. A tissue box holder with no tissue box...

To make matters worse, we canceled our booking for two days later and was told it was not their policy to refund. 

Stay away. This establishment barely qualifies for a 2-star rating. 5 Stars is a joke, and no tourist/businessmen/human being should be cheated out of their money. Go elsewhere. The staff at least were all smiles, and I have a feeling they have a very limited amount of control over the situation. That said, it doesn't matter, this place isn't worth any consideration.

Beware weary traveler

This certainly isn't a 5 star guest house! The rooms are dated and tired. We had to ask for an extra mug for our room as we only had one. After showering the following morning we asked for towels and were told they had none and we would have to wait for the laundry to be delivered. Breakfast is a choice of eggs and a carton of orange juice.

5 star?

This is a small nice and neat in around the heart of Randburg. it offers conference package as well. conference room is warm (as i visited in winter) and equipt with a flat screen TV which is easily connected with a laptop. customer services from all the ladies i made was awesome. Thank you ladies. breakfast, tea and lunch was yummy and more than enough for all my delegates. They went out of their way to offer me lemon and honey which was not part of the breakfast package. they had to rush to the shops to get it for me. the pool area is neat and kept clean. I visited one of the rooms and i was impressed. it is certainly value for your money for anyone who needs a home aways from home stay around the CBD. there is enough parking outside, secured gate, easy to locate and beautiful, smart and very helpful customer service. however, the flat screen in the conference may appear to be too small for delegates with sight issues. in the event of a very large group of delegates coming for a conference, it appears parking would not be enough as well. wifi is available and free, however, the signal was not strong in the conference room and around. need to be boosted
