I must say this has been the worst experience my guests have had at a guesthouse, and they have traveled all over the world. The manager Maricus is one of the worst people I have ever dealt with! No manners at all, doesn't reply to emails and is no help at all. He has no managerial skills and treats his guests very badly. Not sure if it's because we were black or foreign. Guests went away for 2 nights and came back to find their rooms not cleaned. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. Don't be fooled by the warm pictures they put on the website, with poor management all that useless! It's sad that such a beautiful place is being run that way

Very poor management

What a fantastic experience to stay at French Manor Guest House in Pretoria. As part of the Laudate Choir we partook in the 2018 World Choir Games and had many logistic and other needs which were met with 100% on every score! Thank you to Marikus, Jerome and staff!

Visit French Manor Guest House

Great place to stay, very helpful and friendly staff and beautiful rooms. The area is nice and quiet and rooms are very private and safe. Decor and overall atmosphere is fantastic and staff go the extra mile.

Awesome stay!

The room elegantly decorated. The staff was very friendly.  We had a peaceful nights rest.  The bedding was of good quality. The garden is beautiful and very well maintained.  We also had breakfast that was delicious.  

Elegant!

The location for us was very convenient because our children live nearby.  The breakfast was good and the garden very relaxing.  There was only one thing we were not very comfortable with and that was that Room no. 5 had a open plan with bedroom and bathroom in one. It would have been nice if the bathroom was separately.  The room was clean and bed comfortable.  We will be back again..
