We booked in for 2 nights on the 23rd and 24th of September.
Our host Magda was warm and welcoming even at a 23h00 check in.
She was so obliging and walked down to the guest room with milk, tea, sugar and coffee in hand to check us in.
The room, kitchenette and bathroom was exceptionally clean.
We were never asked for payment at any stage of our stay.
I would highly recommend Memra

Warm, kind, caring and customer centric experience 

Very friendly, clean and pleasant. Magda is a great host and she welcomed me even late because I was still at work. The guest house was easy to locate and also very close to my workplace which made it so convinient.

Very nice experience, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, everything is catered for - airconditioning, tv, parking, nice quiet neighbourhood. Tip from my side: rather buy your food beforehand and prepare it in the room, the town is quite dodgy after dark

What a lovely stay at Memra Guest Lodge! Magda and the team were so kind and welcoming, from the initial interaction until we left. We really enjoyed our stay and felt at home (away from home). Definitely coming back when in town.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND HOSPITALITY

I really liked the stay here. It was my first time in this area. Had a nice peaceful time here and enjoyed the comfort that this facility provided. The owners were very courteous and welcoming. Would like to visit again sometime

Great stay

Stayed for two weeks, being for the first time in South Africa (but travelled extensively the world). Upon arrival on a Sunday afternoon welcomed by the owners: Magda & Chris. Heartwarming people and throughout the stay there was basically nothing which would be too much for them. Excellent breakfast ( with almost daily a different personal touch) and dinner was also excellent ( fantastic value for money). The room was not big, but all you need was available: fridge, microwave, satellite television with channels of most part of the world, WiFi, a nice (small) bathroom and good and clean beds. 
Without any doubt, I would recommend this b&b if you are traveling KwaZulu-Natal. I certainly will return one day.

What an excellent b&b!!!

I had a warm welcome by Chris. Magda took me to my room after welcoming me with a nice cup of coffee. The room looked so homely and i were informed about every little detail in and around the house. The bedding were fresh and stylish as well as the decor in the room. Meals were outstandingly prepared by Magda herself. I will for sure return to this home away from home.

Wonderful stay with 2 amazing people. 

Magda is so friendly and helpful and really makes your stay a wonderful experience. The food was lovely and the garden is quirky. Her very first car which is really old is full of flowers in the garden. There is an old bike and lots of signs scattered about.
