We had such a lovely stay at Nandina Guest House.very friendly owner snd staff. The place is clean and affordable for its size.Vey good as just a place to sleep and relax and then go out there to do things.

Lovely and relaxing overnight accomodation.

We stayed at Nandina Cottages in the heat of December. Extremely friendly and helpful hosts, good accommodation, well-planned and laid out. Just the air con in one of the rooms did not work, which made it quite unbearable in the summer heat. We were a party of 11 and were all accommodated with ease.

On the way to the Kruger

 If you’re in the cottage we were in (the Rose Cottage) you get to hear the entire occupancy of the cottage next door talk, do their ablutions, and make noises that literally make you want to vomit when they wake you up at 5am to use their toilet which is an outhouse that backs onto your cottage. I think I had a total of 8 hours sleep in the 3 nights I stayed there. The photos are clinically correct, but very misleading. The bed is so worn I found myself fighting gravity to avoid colliding with my wife in the middle of the night. Pillows are hard. Toilet in our bedroom has a sliding door with a wide gap top and bottom, so if hearing and smelling your partner poop is your thing, great, but I found myself harboring 3 days of constipation. You can’t bath so don’t get excited by the picture of the bath - they’ve taken the plug away. If you do manage to cheat the system, you have to get your clothes wet to fill the bath up, because that’s where they put the taps. Basically, it’s a poorly constructed, poorly appointed, poorly located establishment that’s ideal for people with low or no standards.

Forgettable

What a lovely place. We often go on business to this area and have been looking for somewhere to stay that is affordable, comfortable and accessible. What we found was Nandina Guest houses. Freda the hostess couldn’t do enough for us and despite a mixup on our part over payment was generous and welcoming to a fault. We’ve booked to go back twice more this year. 

Awesome

Fantastic place to stay - very spacious, neat with everything one needs. Has bar fridge, indoor braai / fireplace, TV, kitchen, spacious bathroom (large bath), swimming pool, secure parking.

Only 4km from the main shopping malls in Hazyview and a Sports Bar only 500m up the road.

Spacious and quiet and good value

Loved our cottages so much, it was the prefect romantic weekend away.
the pictures on the internet dontt do justice to the place, its really amazing in real life
So close to all the attractions and sightseeing place.
I can begin to express how lovely the owner is. Goes over and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome. 

Only place i would book at when going to the Kruger again.

Wonderful place

It has many mosquitos and no nets, making it quite difficult to have a good sleep. 
The wooden floor of the first floor makes a lot of noise when walking, not a problem during the day, but in the middle of the night its not good.
The house has a lot of space in the kitchen and living room, and a nice big table outside, on the deck.

My review

A lot of effort is put in place for the well being and comfort of visitors. I haven't stayed in a place that is as clean and neat as this one for the same price. the owner is very helpfull and friendly.
