One of the worst experiences i’ve ever had at a hostel. Reception worker came into our room without any notice, in the middle of the night to “turn the air con off”. Me and my 2 friends were fast asleep in our 3 bed private room and a lady barged in because she said “other people need the air con on too and we can’t have them all on or else the power will go out”. One of the stupidest things i’ve ever heard. Don’t stay here if you want to feel safe and comfortable on your travels. 
Also boiling rooms and very stingy with air con. No mirrors in rooms so very hard to get ready on a morning. Also only 1 shower for an entire floor seen as one was broken.
Noisy hostel too due to kitchen being in the middle of the building, you literally hear everything!

Not Safe at all

First off all, ignore the old reviews that bring the score of this hostel down, it’s has changed now and what you are staying in is a 10 star hostel!

This place is one of the hostels I’ve ever stayed in, so clean, modern and comfortable but most importantly the staff are the best. The attention to detail from the moment you check in till the moment you leave is world class, some places you are given a key and told to enjoy your stay, here you get that plus so much more, the gentleman who checked me in spent some time to tell me exactly where I was, where to go and what to, he detailed a map of the city for me which helped me on my way.

The room and facilities were great and the lockers are huge!

I could write forever so I’ll finish now with my highest recommendation, please stay here!

The best hostel in Ljubljana!

So this place is pretty nice, it has chargers and a shelf for your belongings, aswell as good quality lockers.
However DO NOT go when its hot. There is no air con and so the rooms are so hot. It was so hot despite us havinf the window open, which was awful considering how loud it is outside. There was also no blind so everyone can see you whilst you sleep
Awful night sleep.
Finally admittably im on the heavier side but the bed squeaked as if i was the reincarnation of andre the giant 
Would not recomend to be honest

do not go when its hot, pretty bad

Me and two friends booked a private room (shared bathroom) and we had a lovely short stay in Ljubljana. The staff were so friendly. Mika was so welcoming when we arrived and offered many things for us to do and pointed us to a walking tour (which was great!) they did our washing for us for just 10€ - this includes washing and drying and putting in our room. The place is clean and obviously regularly maintained and cleaned. Cannot fault it. Everything was perfect. Also great location!!

The best stay, great location, great value

This hostel was super nice! The location was incredible, in the middle of everything but still quiet in the hostel. The staff was extremely helpful. They have a modern common area which was nice for working. The hostel looks better in real life than in pictures and the rooms were nice and clean. The bed arraignments gave privacy even in a shared dorm room. Very good value for the money!

Incredible location, excellent hostel 

Had an amazing stay! The location is perfect, the accomodation is great and the staff is great. Special thanks to Miha, he was so kind and helped greatly to make our stay in Ljubljana awesome! Would recommend this to everyone.

Amazing stay

This is actually the second hostel I booked after cancelling the first one that tried to rip me off, I arrived early in the morning and had a long zombie like walk from the bus station to the hostel. The location is perfect and easy to find which is just along the river. It is very close to several attractions. I was welcomed by smiling, friendly and helpful staff. The problem that I see is with the toilets and showers which were small and barely kept clean. The bed is good and comfortable, lockers are provided individually. But the biggest challenge is, there are no sockets nor personal lamps by the bed. Yes, I had to charge my phone and leave it by the door. And the pillows are also a challenge to sleep on.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff, bad toilets and showers

I stayed here for 3 nights (this being my first time ever staying in a hostel) in a room with four others. Our room (304) had three bunks, a small sitting area with two armchairs, and two sets of school-sized lockers for storage. Features I appreciated about this hostel were the pleasantness of the staff, its location, and great wifi connection. They offer breakfast to guest daily, which consists of a selection of prepackaged cold cuts and cheeses, prepackaged sweets, jam/honey, and tea. I would suggest finding breakfast elsewhere. The room seemed clean. There were no bedbugs, stains, signs of neglectful cleaning, etc. The showers on our floor were somewhat like dorm bathrooms in their size and cleanliness- small and gross. One sink outside of the water closets and a smaller sink inside each of them. Although I loved being so close to the city center, I would not stay here again if given the choice.

Wouldn't Stay Again

this place really let us down. after travelling for hours and hours, we were looking forward to relaxing in our bunk - but man this was not the case. we had to stand outside the hostel for 45 min in order to check-in, due to there being only one person on the desk. the rooms did not have lockers, which yeah ok, manageable, but on top of this, the bedroom doors did not lock!!!! we complained and got moved into a different room, which had squeaky beds and no curtains. there was NO kitchen. NO kettle. NO microwave. NO hot water. definitely would not come back to.

only good thing was location

Mika made our time there! Such a nice guy with a wonderful phrase of ‘see youuu’. Much better in terms of everything than we ever expected! However there was no kitchen... not to worry as there’s plenty of restaurants straight outside the hostel.
