12 reviews(+) Babao camp is especially good for those, who are travelling by car around Senegal. However, if you go by public transport, it is also good. 100-200 CFA for a shared taxi and in 15 minutes max you are in Mbour. The hotel has a nice patio and a pool. Roam was spacious, with big bed and mosquito net. Do not forget to bring a mosquito repellent. If you stay in the Babao camp, visit the Liqueur de Warang shop and La Pirogue restaurant! (-) The location of the Babao Camp is not correctly placed on the booking.com. If you go from Mbour to Warang, the Babao Camp is on the right side of the road, maybe 300-500 meters before Warang starts. It is close to the Liqueur de Warang shop but on the opposite side of the road. Friendly dog will be barking if you know the door. The French lady, who owns the place does not speak English but if you know a few phrases in French, you will find how to communicate. There is no hot water but during a day you will not need it because the temperature goes to 30 degrees and fresh shower is just excellent!
