very sugary breakfast options , food is stale, no dairy free milk. ROOM IS BAD: they added a loft space to the room, selling it like extra two beds. An adult can’t actually sleep there! Tht is not beds, it is two mattresses thrown on the floor, that is barely enough to walk on. If a sleepy person or a child wakes up at night in a dark, they can just fall down the stairs! An adult can’t sleep in that loft, let alone an older person. Very steep steps, you have to bend to get to your mattress. It is extremely hot at night (all the heat in the room rises up). The regular bed on the “first”level is awful. Mattress is too soft, feels like broken. Bathroom is way too tiny. If you are not a child or a skinny person, you will not fit in that shower. extremely disappointed , and I am not generally picky, and never really write reviews.

Location

Dom Chajkovskogo Mini-hotel is located in St. Petersburg, in the very center of the city, in a historic building dating back to 1834. Near the mini-hotel is the Winter Palace, the Admiralty Building, St. Isaac's Cathedral and many other main attractions of the city. The Palace Bridge is within walking distance.

In a mini-hotel

The building has a new elevator. An additional shuttle service is available from/to the airport and train station. Before and after check-in, you can leave your luggage at the reception. Guests can also rent terry bathrobes at the front desk. Pets are allowed for an additional fee. The staff of the mini-hotel will keep up the conversation in English, Italian and Russian.

Breakfast at the mini-hotel is buffet style in its own breakfast room. Additionally, guests can have lunch and dinner.
