Just looking for a simple place to my stay in Sibiu, I was surprised how much this Pensiune offers at a really low price. I even stayed a night longer, because it fitted all my needs.

- Only 20 steps away from the famous street bridge, between upper and lower Old Town. Everything is within walking distance. 
- Very good heating and windows (it was February). 
- Room has the cheapest furniture from the 1990s - but a clean private bathroom.
- Good pillow
- Silence, because main traffic doesn´t pass through this side street.
- Good Wifi

Quiet and central. Good value!

Nice guesthouse with a little courtyard at a quiet alley close to the main sights. Friendly staff. No breakfast or private parking space. Somewhat soft foam mattress. Very good stay for this low room price.

Very good value well located

Cheaper than most other pensions and really next to the town center, while on a quiet street, not too far from the bus and train stations either. Besides it had availability.
Rooms are comfortable, with French TV5. Microwave and fridge outside. Good Wifi. 2nd floor rooms get hot, and noise gets through from the adjacent room.

Good value, inside the old town

We spent one night in Pension Podul Minciunulor. It's excellently located in the centrum (1km from the train station).

The room was spacious and clean including a bathroom.

The window was towards the outside corridor. There were a little bit noise, which interrupted the sleeping a few times during the night.

Although the weather was warm, the heat radiator became hot by itself. The adjuster didn't rotate, but after a some time the radiator became calm.

Centrally located

The hotel is well positioned in the city centre and it is  affordable compared with other pensions in town. The service is very low, the attender was pretty rude and not helpful at all. She wanted to be paid in advance  and she was not able to talk in English. I recommended it for the price but not for the service.

Ok so this owner takes advantage of the excellent position of this hostel in order to basically ignore guests and not renovate anything. We were given a double room plus a single even though I specifically asked and paid for 2 doubles. The owner's reply was "What do you expect at this price!" as if this was some justification. Rooms very hot and no AC. All your neighbors can see you through window. Can hear neighbors having sex. Boiler (at least i think it was boiler) makes a strange regular noise which is really annoying at night time. Had to plead with owner for change of towels- eventually told her we would pay extra if only she brings fresh ones. Mold and lack of cleanness in the bathroom. If you trust the advice of an experienced traveler who is actually from Romania originally, look for another place in center Sibiu.
