The villa is sparkling clean and very quiet. It is very conveniently located, near Brasov. The breakfast is amazing. The owner, Teresa made us feel very welcomed. It was a perfect location for a quiet and refreshing week-end, with a bit of hiking and a bit of sightseeing.We shall definitely return as we have really enjoyed our time here.

Every time we want to see Brasov, Scobici is our home away from home. The rooms are always in perfect condition (clean and organized). The bed is very comfortable and you get about 6 pillows for 2. 
Outside you can enjoy a beautiful garden while you are entertained by the friendliest host around.

We arrived late in the evening from Bucharest, absolutely shattered but within 5 mins of arriving the owner, Teresa, had us laughing, tasting her homemade plum brandy, which is delicious, before settling us into our beautiful apartment! The room was very spacious with separate living room area, 2 flatscreen TVs, balcony,fridge and a large bathroom. Bed very comfy and room in general extremely clean. Breakfast is amazing..you won't go hungry! There is always a selection available to suit your tastes. Highly recommend dinner as well, Teresa's cooking is exceptional. She uses fresh ingredients, some grown in the garden and everything else is homemade! Come to dinner with an appetite though, portions are more than generous! On the whole we had a super stay here, excellent service, incredible food and relaxed atmosphere...Teresa's gorgeous little dog Lorrie is fun too..always there to greet you 😊 

My husband and I travelled a lot not only in Romania but also abroad and stayed only to at least 4 stars hotels. From this point of view we know to make certain differences and assessments when it comes about accommodation. To characterize Vila Scobici and the entire atmosphere as perfect maybe is too commercial; as familial, maybe is too inappropriate for some of us. I will only say that Vila Scobici is the place where great and sincere hospitality is not price included but comes from the heart and the way to be of its owners: Mrs. Tereza and her husband. All these elements combine the natural beauties of Romania with the superlative accommodation at Vila Scobici: rich breakfast and meals with homemade products, clean and spacious rooms, quality bedclothes/pillows/mattress, refined design of the garden and of the interiors, security equipment, the interest of the owners permanently looking for providing you the comfort you desire. And with all these, there is still a certain kind of people, criticizing unjustified and distorting the true with regard to the work and dedication of two kind owners. Maybe because the lack of politeness and respect are unable to mix with the owners good manners. We can only hope that the majority opinion will prevail. We highly recommend you to stay at Vila Scobici even for 1 day.

Incredible place and better people

One in a million owner!!!

Wonderful people, wonderful place

I have been to this hotel many times in the summer of 2014. My boyfriend goes paragliding and I like to enjoy the silence of the place.  
The Vila is very well taken care of,  very clean,  with a small garden where you could spend your time and the breakfast is really good,  with a great variety of choices. This are the good things that made me come back every time. Still this Vila is located into a small village,  you cannot walk to Brasov,  you have to drive until there.  There are no turistic attractions in a walking distance.
Now I will say the bad things that made me give one star to this location. After the good experience we had last year,  on April we decided to celebrate my boyfriends birthday here. The owner was generally nice,  though talking to much and following you every where,  but not so disturbing the other time so we thought we would have a pleasant weekend.  We were 4 couples with no children, just a small family reunion. 
This time things were not so great.  As the Vila had only one place where we could gather in the evening, in the breakfast room,  we thought that it was OK to stay there,  as we were not doing any kind of party or extreme noise,  just talking and playing cards.  The owner seemed very upset about us spending time there,  and almost asked us to leave the room as we are not alone in the Vila. Where could a group stay if this was the only room in the whole place where we could spend time together. 
More than this,  in the first night we asked her to make us something to eat,  and we put the leftovers in the fridge so they don't spoil until morning and she made a tremendous scandal about the hygiene and the guts that we had to go through her fridge,  when the fridge was in the breakfast room, we did not break into her home or something. 
The thing is that she ruined all our weekend,  the owner is a very perverse person,  seems very hospitable but in reality she prefers to win money with no headaches. After the argue in the evening about the place to seat,  we found a overcharged bill with what we had to pay. We tried to speak to her,  and find some explanation,  but instead she said we should pay what we want the rest is on her,  as if someone was begging for something. In order to close,  she made us think that there were other guests in the Vila so she could justify the other night attitude,  but we haven't seen anyone and see plaid some theatre about how they wouldn't eat their breakfast,  or their desert. 

A very perverse owner with two faces,  stay away.  It's a shame as I enjoyed the small but cosy rooms and the quiet reading in the small garden. A great place to relax spoiled by its owners.
