On our 4th day here, my parents annouced me that half of their money are missing, more than 1000 euro. Of course we tried to find out what happend. They had room 9 upstairs, sharing the same balcony with room 10 that was not occupied in any day during our accomodation. Therefore the thief either entered the room with a matching key or through the other room and the balcony. We announced the boy that seemed to be the manager, being very polite and not to acuze him because it could have been also a tourist, hoping he could help us, maybe with the cameras, to find out what had happend. His only comment was: "there is no one that could do that". And that's all. He just left not showing a bit of empathy for our problem. 
I had to call the owner and he was very rude and impolite saying that is not his responsability to take care of our money, that maybe we were too drunck to remember where we put it. And that is intolerable for a host. 
We had no proof of the theft, but neither a hidden reason. We didn't call the police, we didn't argue or try not to pay our expences. It was obvious that we would not recover them. Yet we had to annouce what had happend. I think it was a very good approach not to steal all the money but half of them, so the tourist would notice maybe after a few days they were missing, because in the Delta there is no place where you can spend them.
So, not recommended. Be awere if you choose them. They are not interested in solving your problems whatever they are.

We were robbed in Pension Casa Ada

Our room was large and comfortable with a balcony. Would have liked a chair out there so that one could sit and watch the activity on the river and the passers by. The manager and staff were friendly and helpful. We had catfish and carp for dinner with polenta. Both meals were more than substantial, although I would have liked some salad or green vegetables with the fish. The manager will meet you at the ferry, this was not communicated beforehand to us.

Comfortable Crisan stay.

The staff is very friendly and they offer boat rides around the area, which I definitely recommend.

We also ordered food, which was excellent. The fish soup was amazing. The fried pan fish was very good, but I would have liked more a fish grill.

Friendly staff, excellent food

We are travelling with a group of bird watchers and stayed at this hotel.  It has the feel of a wood.en chalet but is extremely friendly and helpful.  We had a room at the front of the hotel with a balcony overlooking the Danube. The stairs were a little steep and narrow but there were some ground floor rooms. There were minor problems with our room like no hanging space just 3 hooks on the wall and sound proofing between rooms was not good. However the food and coffee was excellent. There is free wifi but it only in the dining room. To be recommended.

Friendly hotel

After a 2:30 hours boat trip from Murighiol, we've arrived to the pension. Immediately, we have noticed the friendly staff and very clean rooms. But the most impressive thing about this house is the food. Everything is made like it should be, and even after 5 days of eating fish we still had more surprises to come. The rooms are a little bit noisy but this is something common in these wild places where they use only wood and thatch for construction.
The wild side of the Delta is spectacular, we have seen a lot of unique birds and plants. We've enjoyed every minute of our trip and for sure we will come back.

Beautiful experience

We were a group of four willing to spend a long weekend in the Danube Delta and Crişan was the destination.

We arrived at the Pension Casa Ada and we stayed there for 2 nights, had our breakfast and dinner there and also enjoyed fishing while on a boat trip to the wild natural canals of the Danube. 

We saw pelicans and loads of birds specific to the area (I'm not a connoisseur but I did enjoy them) and the

The host was great, very obliging and did everything for us to enjoy ourselves.

Definitely going there again!
