We had a great stay at this historic hotel, 50 m from Pone's  main Plaza. Staff was caring, friendly and efficient! They treated us like royality, and went iut of their way to make us very comfortable. 

We had a large room on second floor with a step out french deck. Though old, hotel is well maintained.

An enjoyable stay at a rustic 18 century hotel

Beautiful ! very walkable to many points of interest around historic Ponce central.  If your room doesn’t have what you need, simply ask the front desk, the staff are incredibly friendly and gracious. Very very clean, beautifully decorated for the holidays. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a unique authentic & historic experience.

Gorgeous Accommodation in the heart of it all! 

The hotel has a great history; its not new, but have all the necessary to have a pleasant stay. Excellent customer service; very good location in the middle of the town with many restaurants options; Not luxury, but very comfortable; great value for the money!

Hotel with history and great location

Really cool hotel that provided a unique and comfortable experience. We stayed in a king room on the street side on a Friday night and had a quiet night’s sleep. The room was clean and updated. The building has a lot of charm and character. The concierge couldn’t have been nicer and provided great, local recommendations for food and coffee. Perfect location and accommodations for anyone exploring Ponce. 

Well-kept historical hotel

Small boutique hotel. Clean and central. Staff members are alway willing to help and accessible. They go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. They even allowed me to use their laundry facilities free of charge. The hotel is older but well maintained. There is parking in the street in front. Will stay again and recommend

Great stay in Ponce.

This place is amazing. The room is so big, with awesome AC, great customer service. I would definitely recommend staying on this side of the street since less noisy.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Belgica!! The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff was very nice and went out of their way to make me feel as comfortable as possible; even letting me use their washer and dryer free of charge when I requested a laundry service. I will for sure stay here again when I go back to Ponce in the future

Amazing hotel!!

Excellent vintage hotel with modern amenities and great guest service steps away from Ponce's main square. Unless 28 steps is too much for your knees, by all means get a second floor balcony room, you won't regret it. Our room was so comfortable and lacked for nothing. As close it is to downtown ground zero, it is less noisy and crowded than San Juan and has none of the tourist trap ambiance of most OSJ hotels. Manager mailed back home a phone charger we'd forgotten upon leaving our room. Definitely will return and recommend.

This is the real deal

I ended up making my reservation in the same day. I have been living in PR for the past 3 months and decided at the last minute to drive the island. 
From my conversation with the person on the phone to the departure the folks I met working at the hotel and the care of the property, considering it's age, was outstanding. We all have become much more aware of cleanliness with everything that we have lived with the past 2+ years, rest assured the hotel is impeccably clean.
The fun part was being able to speak to the folks and learn more about the history of the property which was once a home to a local family. If you are so inclined ask to speak with the hotel manager Umberto who will drop whatever he is doing to share his passion about the hotel. 
If you are headed to PR and want to have a true experience of the culture, book a couple nights here and use it as a wonderful base.

Comfort, Class and Kindness in Ponce, PR

Really beautiful hotel with 20 foot ceilings, dark wood everywhere, really antique look and feel. Right on the main square in Ponce. Balcony room we reserved was really nice but overlooked a main street so not too private. Hallways and lobby not air conditioned but rooms were. Hotel restaurant closed Monday-Tues, but stopped wed morning for decent breakfast. Extremely comfy king bed!

Only problem was lack of elevator but knew upfront and not unusual in an old building. However since there are high ceilings note need to haul bags up more like 2 flights of stairs. They did offer to help.
