We stayed at the Adega House on this Quinta. The house was spaceous, well equipped and well furnished. The beds were comfortable albeit getting a bit old, as are the towels. The kitchen needs a bit of looking after in terms of utensils e.g. 3 coffee cups only of which 1 was chipped. Overall the house needs a bit of updating and general maintenance.  In terms of cleanliness it is spotless. 
The grounds, and pool, on this Quinta are excellent. Beautifully maintained and spotless also. The games room is very good but also needs a bit of maintenance (pool table and football table). The ambience in this Quinta is very nice indeed and we would reccommend it, with no reservations, to anyone travelling to the area . We had no issues in checking in, or out, all ran smoothly.

1  week at Quinta do Galgo

We had the most relaxing days while staying here. The housing was great. They have a few houses/apartments around the farm, so you get your own private lodging with kitchen - which was perfect for those days we decided to stay in the farm. Ideal location if you have a car. Close to Braga, Guimarães, Parque Nacional Peneda Gerês, there's a plenty to explore. But also great if you chose to stay in and enjoy the piece and quiet of the farm. 
We loved Orca's company (the gentle giant). She kept a respectfull distance at first, but we made sure to let her understand that her company was more than welcome, so from that point on, nearly every day I'd wake up to find Orca lying on the grass a few meters from our door. 
The owners are the nicest people and made us feel at home from day one. 
The house had all we needed to feel comfortable and were had an amazing luck with the wheather. Hot and sunny by day allowing us to enjoy the pool. Cold by night, just enough to test the fireplace. :)

Relaxing days

Awesome space, excellent owners.
You have a barbacue that you can use, and wood enough for turning it on.
Big pool in a green space.
A big dog very friendly for other people, but not such friendly for other dogs, specially nervous ones.
Next to Braga's city, and fine cheap restaurants.
