I really enjoyed my stay at Willa Helan. The hotel is unique with plenty of character, it is decorated traditionally. The rooms are also traditional with their decor and furniture which is nice as you feel somewhere different, unlike chains where every hotel looks the same wherever you are in the world. The booked a single room and I found the bed to be comfortable. My only negative was the room was too hot for me even with the autumn temperatures of October, although this could be a how the Polish prefer their room temperatures to be as I found it to be very hot on the overnight sleeper train also. I opened the window for the duration which did help somewhat. The location is convenient as the centre is easily accessible by a bus which is frequent and operates late into the evening, the area surrounding the hotel is peaceful and pretty and there’s the benefit of of a few restaurants and shops within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. The facilities are excellent, the spa has multiple saunas as well as a steam room whilst the pool also comes with a large jacuzzi. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they all spoke very good English so communication was never an issues. The breakfast which was included with my booking was delicious and the buffet was plentiful. As a vegetarian I could always create a plateful of food. I especially enjoyed how they use local produce such as the mountain cheeses. I would definitely stay again in the future. Thanks for enjoyable stay Willa Helan!
