Perfect location, clean beach, both pool clean. All areas clean every day. No insects, no mosquitoes. Very friendly staff. Quick and very good breakfast. Nice food in the restaurant. TV with Netflix. Clean shower. Minibar. Good air conditioning. Free transportation to and from airport El Nido / Lio

We had a problem with our internet and AC and they quickly moved us to another room.

As we arrived from our 5hour drive (Puerto Prinsesa Airport to Cyrus Inn) we have to walk up, the first level the road is not good and its very steep.  With our driver helped us to go up with our baggage. As we settled at the breakfast area we waited almost for 5 minutes for the front desk to entertain us. For all we know the lady in the front desk is still sleeping I ask if they know our time of arrival as I texted the person who asked for our payment via online. The lady said that she taught that we will arrive a little later. I said that we are exhausted from the trip. As we get assisted with a man going to our room. Again we have to walk up with big stair steps, as we arrived from the room the aircondition is not yet turned on. So I ask them that they should prepare the room before the guest arrives. We rested in the hot room for we don't have any choice. Breakfast is include, they have a menu of your choice. Hotel to city is around 10 mins by tricycle (50 Pesos) going and 50 back.

We would not recommend this hotel. The rooms were dirty and window blinds were falling off the windows. Towels were not in the bathroom or room when we arrived. We had three done villa rooms for our party. One room had a missing window that had a piece of card board taped over the hole with masking tape. For the second room, the toilet was leaking all over the bathroom floor and there was a constant pool of water. The third room was infested with mosquitoes and we later found mosquito larva in the room. When we brought these issues to the hotel staff they did nothing to rectify the situation and wouldn’t even provide a discount or move our rooms. It was frustrating because we prepaid for the stay. The location of the hotel is good and could have so much potential. Avoid this nightmare resort.

Really dirty and not maintained. Bathroom was filthy, asked get it to be cleaned and it was not. Reception toilets even worse. Everything was covered in dust, it actually smelt like dust. Pool was green slimey looking, no guests used during our stay. Fixtures were having off the wall, lights didn’t work in our room, hole in top of door where mosquitoes got in. We did not get tair con didn’t really work. Refused airport pick up and drop off which they said was free. Not enough staff we waited 1 hour 30 minutes on scrambled eggs at breakfast. We paid a lot for this stay so we were very disappointed. It’s a shame as this property would be lovely if it was maintained and cleaned every once in a while.

I went to El Nido, Palawan with my boyfriend last Mar. 27-31, 2017 to escape the busy city in Manila. I found Cyrus Inn at booking.com (an online platform website for cheap hotels in PH). The inn was quite cheap and it can be booked easily without a credit card. I booked a room last February at booking.com to reserve the cheapest one, then someone texted me to cancel my booking and just pay directly to them to avoid additional charges, his name is Noel. 

As we arrived in the hotel last 28th of March, it was like climbing a mountain top, so steep and dangerous. The restaurant offers several food choice, most of the time "TAPSILOG" which is every filipino's traditional breakfast is not available though it was in their menu. The room is like an insect garden, you can almost see and count all kinds of insect which made us not to turn off the aircon the whole time. The least they can offer is the "Kulambo". We also experienced a blackout and the staff just let us take a bath without any power or light. You also have to ride a tricycle to take you in town. (Tricycle cost 50.00) I will not recommend this to foreigners and even backpackers. There's a lot more inn/ hotel in town, a friendly reminder, always read the reviews before booking.
