Staff was so friendly and helped me with a lot of organisation. The garden ist really beautiful and the view to the des ist amazing, you have to watch the sunrise there! The rooms are clean and there ist a mosquito net, that looks like a honeymoon bed. The pillows and towels smell fresh washed and the bed is comfortable. I can also recommend the restaurant! 5 stars!

I loved this place!

Overview:
This is an ideal place to escape the crowds in Palawan. It takes its 'eco-lodge' status fairly seriously, and you can expect a tranquil, affordable and truly rustic experience which is not for the faint-hearted. 
Accommodation: 
We stayed in one of the Bay View Cottages. Apart from the inevitable pouches of hotel soap and apparent lack of recycling facilities, the cottages live up to the resort's eco-lodge claim for the most part, with electricity only made available from 6pm to 6am daily. However, there are no mirrors in some of them, and being open-ended, they do not provide much in the way of noise insulation - if you value privacy, the best one (which is also more spacious than the others, and affords a better view) is right down at the end, on its own little rise. At night, the sounds of local fauna will start to encroach to the point that it can feel like being in a tree-house in the heart of the jungle (I loved this, but it's not for everyone), and the occasional visitor will also leave their mark (e.g. giant gecko poop!) In addition, with dust and sand accumulating rapidly, expect to have to request a room clean most days - brooms are not provided. Showers are cold water only, and water pressure can be so low as to be almost non-existent at times. Severe weather will also make you question why you chose this place, with little protection afforded from the wind and rain in the open-ended section of the cottages. They are kept immaculately clean though, the beds are comfortable enough and well protected with well-maintained nets, and the view across the bay is stunning. 
Restaurant: 
This has some glowing reviews but is really just average. Portions are small and you should expect a number of dishes to be unavailable at any given time - in particular, don't expect much in the way of fresh fish, fruit or ground coffee, much of which was off the menu for the majority of our 10-day stay. It is a relaxing place to hang out and the only place to go for the very wobbly WiFi, but there are options along the beach which offer more variety and better value for money, especially the excellent Ursula Beach Club, where you can while away the hours on comfy armchairs and beds. 
The beach: 
This can be reached in a 5-10 min walk - cross the sealed road, head down the dirt track and bear left through Tapik Beach Club. It is tidal, and pleasant to stroll along, but not a swimming beach. PADI- certified Dive Sibaltan is situated behind Ursula Beach Club, and offers some pleasant fun diving with the prospect of seeing mantas. Contact the friendly DI, Mo: divesibaltanelnido@gmail.com. It is also a popular spot for kite-surfing - there's a place to do it down the end of the beach, close to the village. Ursula Beach Club is easily the best option along here, though the backpacker-oriented Tapik Beach Park also gets a mention for friendliness and a peaceful, rustic vibe similar to Erlittop. Along with the campsite next door, it's also the spot for evening karaoke if you're so inclined.
The experience: 
Overall this place ticked a number of boxes, especially in terms of getting away from it all - for several days we had the entire place to ourselves. The peace and quiet was exceptional, and coupled with the beautifully maintained gardens, local wildlife and view across the bay, it will go a long way toward improving your overall sense of well-being. If TripAdvisor allowed for a 'good' rating, I would give it. However, despite the huge potential of the place, Erlittop does not provide the convivial, family atmosphere or the level of customer service you may be expecting from such unique and intimate surrounds, and the owners are very hands-off - there are a number of well-regarded homestays a short distance away, if you're looking for a more personalised experience. The accommodation would also benefit from a facelift, better WiFi, in-room safes and a proactive recycling system. It could also take its eco-lodge status a little more seriously - e.g. by offering unique opportunities for guests to get involved in local sustainability projects and tours and purchase local, eco-certified products rather than just the bog-standard tour options and somewhat limited products and services offered everywhere else. Palawan is an eco-conscious place which has banned single-use plastic (Singapore: take note!), and this in itself is attracting tourists. Eco tourism is on the rise for good reason, and Palawan is already providing an ideal model for the region - Erlittop could be a part of it. 
Special mention goes to Jester, who provided an impeccable service and went out of his way to make sure all the guests were happy - and with his enthusiasm could, I'm sure, devise and manage more unique selling points on behalf of the resort.

Good place to forget the madness of the world - for a while

JUST GO GO GO! This place is EXCEPTIONAL! Not only does this place have incredible beauty, tranquility, affordability but the whole atmosphere, the people, the customer service, it’s just such a vibe! I mean Cromwell (owner) upgraded my mom and I the 2nd night at no cost! On my moms bday the young gentleman by the name of Chester (such a soul) organized her Happy Birthday pancakes in bed :-) the views are like no other place in the Philippines! The full body massages were the best I have ever had (I travel a lot and have had my fair lot of massages) People complain about the distance and the effort! If you book on your booking confirmation you can get the owners number/email and he can help Organise Transport in a van at el nido terminal at 10am for only 200php (nothing really) we wanted to stay 1 night: we stayed 4! If I ever come back I’ll go straight to this place and stay here for minimum of one
week! The over all experience was OUTSTANDING X

 I think of this Place :-) when I think Philippines! 

We came with the ferry from Coron to El Nido and had instructions to take the van from a hostel there to Erlittop, worked fine. An advice is to ask for instructions. It’s about a one hour ride. We had booked two nights in the very basic hut but upgraded to a bungalow with our own toilet and shower after one night. And stayed some more nights since we liked it so much. No air con or fan in the huts but the wind on the hill made it ok. And no electricity during daytime so charge your stuff at night. The restaurant had very nice food, especially the soups. It’s needed to rent a bike since it’s not much to do around there. But with a bike you can reach nice beaches for kite surfing or just swimming. Nacpan beach is very nice, about one hours ride away.

Nice quiet place

We wanted to visit El Nido as a district not the city. And we couldn’t make it better. 
Erlittop is a beautiful place - couple of small bamboo houses but with all you need. Double bed, tiny but comfortable bathroom and a hammock ;)
The staff is super friendly and helpful! 
Food is available at the place and very tasty. If you like a spicy food than Dynamite is a must. 
From this place to the village is a 10 min walk through the beach or the road. 
I am rather a backpacker than resort person so for me everything was super. But if you expect 4stars quality bungalow than this is not. 

As at home with delicious food 

I had a great stay!!! The ErlitTop Garden Eco Lodge is a good place to relax. It has a good overlooking view. I strongly recommend it to travellers who are looking for budget type hotels away from the city. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is really good. The rooms are well designed. I really enjoyed the island hopping - great views. I definitely would like to comeback again!!!

Great Place To Stay

We drove from puerto princesa as the bus/ coach took 6 hours to el nido then a taxi was £60 to get from el nido to the lodge. We asked the lodge what was the best way of getting g there and they suggested hiring a car a driving from puerto princesa....... a 246km trip took us 7 hours to drive, crossing through rivers ( in a 1.2L small car) and 100km of stone roads ( very, very bumpy) for images you can look at my Instagram (mikerichie90) when we finally arrived, the people at reception didn’t help us up the hill with our bags, didn’t give us any information about the things do in the area, didn’t tell us about the electricity being off between 11pm and 6pm, the room we booked wasn’t available ( still under construction) no fans in the room and in 30degree heat you can’t sleep, the room was next to the road so any cars or motor bikes that went past were very loud, the room had no windows only blinds to fill the holes and gaps along the walls and ceiling so the bugs and mosquitoes could get in and we got severely bitten. The restaurant served 6 dishes and only 3 were available ( we had vegetarian curry which was quite nice) the WiFi didn’t work, we left after the first night as the beach was shocking, no other places to eat or get WiFi within 10km, the staff were rude and didn’t ask why we left 3 days early. It is in the middle of nature so with no windows only gaps it is very loud from the cockerels, pigs and bugs, the room has windows that overlook the ocean but it’s like being in a jail as the windows has wooden bars through them so you can’t clearly see the view! I wouldn’t recommend staying here, go to the centre of El Nido ( look at my Instagram) a lot more to do and lots a places to eat and drink! All very eco friendly too! 

Terrible!! 

3 nights at Erlittop was the highlight of a great couple of weeks travelling through Cebu, Coron and El Nido. 

We opted for one of the huts overlooking the sea with a private bathroom for about £21 a night. Spacious, lots of storage plus a bench and hammock in front of the open views out. Perfect mix of nature and a bit of luxury. 

Beautiful, well designed huts with stunning views.  Loved going to sleep with the cool breeze coming in off the sea and waking up to the sun rising over the water. 

The grounds around the huts are great with several private tables to sit or eat as well as the main restaurant area. The staff were wonderful and breakfast or dinner was good value and never disappointed. 

You’re also a few minutes from the beach and plenty of other restaurant options. Plus the island hopping tours and a fantastic dive school where we’ve did the best dive (unspoilt coral reefs and manta rays). And close to Nacptan and Duli Beach (short moped journey). 

So glad we ventured further from El Nido and recommend anyone else looking at El Nido to look into it to.

Highlight of the Philippines

We really enjoyed our stay here.  There are a couple of difference options for accommodation - we went with the basic room and shared bathroom which was great and such good value.  The food, the vibe and the staff are all first class and we would recommend this to anyone who wants a back to nature feel (you do share the rooms with geckos) along with a fabulous view and chilled out vibe.  Do not hesitate to book!  Thanks to the staff for making us feel so welcome.
