This is not the Ritz Carlton but as great finds go this in one of the best.  We booked 11 continuous days here so we had a place to leave our luggage when we traveled to El Nido for some wonderful boat trips and 2 nights stay.
We had free breakfast every morning with coffee and the food was real good.  Private guest cabins were air conditioned.  Small but sufficient.  Remember the price was very very low so don’t expect some sort of luxury motel.  We also had airport and delivery free of charge and they were there waiting for us when we arrived.
The staff was more than accommodating and the grounds spotless and clean.  They care about your comfort here and treat you like family.

Quaint, Quiet and very Reasonable

The rooms are reasonable in size. Housekeeping cleans the rooms after every 2nd day of your stay. Breakfast is descent and fair. I love it most when the property personnel serves it with fruits! Yum! Rent your own transport for cost and convenience purposes.

Backpackers’ Haven

Cute little cabins, very friendly staff, family-owned business. They have a driver that when free will drop you off to town or to a restaurant. Try the omelette breakfast - so good!! You need insect repellant. There aren’t any mosquito nets and despite the fly screens, the cabins have places mosquitos can get in.

We stayed for two nights at Subli and had a wonderful time. The hosts took excellent care of us, driving us into the city center and the bus station free of charge, providing a nice breakfast every morning, taking my clothes to the cleaners and returning same day, as well as booking our firefly tour last minute for a very reasonable price. The property is clean, with beautiful plants and decor. The cabins were clean and well air conditioned. 

Nice quiet cabins with wonderful hosts

I definitely loved my stay in Subli. I arrived very early in Puerto Princesa and they let me check-in as early as 6AM. Staff are very friendly and accomodating. When you stay in Subli, pat Lilo for me 😁

Very accomodating

We only stayed 1 night on our way to the airport, however the hosts were so accommodating we couldn’t help but write a review. We had a flight early in the morning and they insisted on making us breakfast at 4am and taking us to the airport. Everyone was extremely helpful and went out of their way to accomodate to our needs. Breakfast was yum and you are welcome to grab a tea or coffee whenever you like. Would definitely come back !!!

Lovely Stay

To be honest, I had misgivings as the sign for Subli is very small and battered, and the short road leading to it is potholed and muddy. However, I'm glad to say I was completely wrong. The cabins are all set around a beautiful garden, there's an honesty bar, a well-stocked reading room and everything is very clean and works. Rooms have A/C and showers and the owners/staff are all very helpful and willing to call taxis, give lifts into town, etc etc. I only stayed one night and I had an early flight so I didn't get to try breakfast but based on everything else, I'm sure it's to a high standard. For around $15 a night this is a truly superb option and I would have happily stayed here longer had I the time.
On a separate note, travellers with just a night to spare in Puerto Princesa would be wise to head down to Baywalk; lots of restaurants, bars and people on a promenade next to the sea.

Superb little place

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the Subli Guest cabins while on a recent trip to the philippines. Here are a few of my thoughts.

PROS
* SERVICE - Very helpful staff. Provided lifts free of charge into town and helped organise a tour to Puerto Princessa Underground River.
* ROOMS - clean and large.
* HOT WATER worked
* BREAKFAST - Decent breakfast included in the cost of the room
* VALUE

CONS
* LOCATION - It is located well outside of town. Staff will offer you a lift into town to restaurants but you will need to find funding for the return trip.
* BUGS - Attracted by the lights the cabins are full of bugs at night.
* WIFI - Cannot handle the number of people currently staying in the accomodation. It took me 40 minutes to book some flights. You cannot receive decent phone reception.

Overall this is a decent, but not exceptional option in Puerto Princessa.

Decent mid tier accomodation

Best place to stay in PP. Super accommodating hosts, free airport transfers and breakfast even very early in the morning. Cosy little rooms! Just remember your bug repellent as there was quite a lot of mosquitoes.😊

Amazing value

What a nice place. Very quiet and a beautiful garden. We loved that huge Mango tree ! It is real close to the airport and the staff is so friendly. Breakfast is really good and they try to fullfill every wish..
