It was horrible.  Nothing was as advertised. Unclean, an uncaring staff.  The windows didn't lock. the room was up 3 flights of stairs so dark you couldn't see during the day. And they kept turning the lights off. no breakfast unless you get up at 5 am

Nothing was as advertised. No shuttle. No breakfast most days. Windows didn’t lock. No cleaning. Bathroom stunk. 3 flights of stairs to our room. 4 flights to dining room. No help with bags. About a half mile uphill walk. Everything on Expedia was a lie.

I had to stay for a night in this place. There was no hot water at all, no matter how long you wait, or time of the day is. In the room there’s no a wardrobe or even a hanger, the soap in the bathroom was used, wifi not working at all. The buffet and the kitchen are on the 4th floor, just next to your room and the noise won’t let you sleep no matter how tired you are. I can keep going on with this... like you can get your coffee from the thermos labeled “hot water”!
I’ve been in many hotels around the world, but this one is a huge mistake! Don’t do it!

Nothing goes right here :(

Two night stay while we were getting ready to see Machu Picchu and then coming back from there.  COmfoy and easy walk from the train station and then to the bus stop for the ride to Machu Picchu. It is very damp in  the jungle, so it was difficult to dry our clothes and towels in the bathrooms, the breakfast was ok only. But this hotel served it's purpose certainly and they responded when we needed something and tried to help us fix any problems we had. I would recommend this hotel.

Luckily we only stayed one night here and it was only to sleep. We checked in as a group  and immediately wanted to check back out. The windows had been left open so there were a ton of bugs flying around and the rooms all smelled horribly. I had to febreeze everything on the bed to try and even lay down on the bed. In addition there was hair from someone else on the bed, in the shower, on the mirror, among other places. It wasn't just our room either. We were part of a group and everyone's room was dirty and smelled.

Very clean and modern for such a remote location. Rooms were updated and the hotel is close to everything.

The hotel lacks some basic services. There was no hot water whatsoever. The sink was clogged. The room had an open window to the common stairs, and whole night I did hear everyone who was talking while getting to/from their room, as well as TV from another room on the floor. The staff was unfriendly - it took quite some time to check in. The reception feels like a storage room. Internet is weak (could not connect).

In retrospective, I do regret not spending $100 for a better accommodation.

Never again

This place is absolutely awful. The staff is extremely rude and un helpful and the room was dirty. They say they have wifi wich is a joke it barely works and when it does its ridiculously slow. There is also barely any hot water. This place was booked through a travel agency and we didn't bother to ask before hand where we were staying. Make sure if you book with an agency you ask before hand where you are staying so you cam avoid an awful experience like we had.

Horrible

This property was clean and had a "help yourself" kind of atmosphere. Staff was friendly but did not speak much English and we did not speak much Spanish. It was a different place but the price was right and you get what you pay for.

I went as far as the reception desk and left. My message to the property hours prior to arrival was unanswered. The location and condition of the property were poor. Choose other options.
