Ms. Pinetree's Hostel

This hostel is one of the few budget choices in Palau, and a great place to stay: a huge and well-equiped communal kitchen inviting to cook on your own (which also will massively reduce your food expenses, as eating out is very expensive in Palau); a TV room; a huge kitchen table; a nice living room with a huge sofa. There are also recommendations for renting cars and doing snorkeling tours (if you can swim, you should definitely book a tour with the hostel‘s associated guide and not one of the tour companies, as the latter will group you with non-swimmers and then not go to the deep places) etc. But the best thing are the hosts and other travellers - a lot of them long-term residents and in our experience very sociable.
