Most of what was advertised did not apply!

Although advertised the staff did not speak English. We were fortunate that one of the other guests translated to arabic for us when we arrived. When I spoke to the supervisor he only replied in Arabic after me asking for him to speak English...then he asked me if I spoke French? We could understand if the place advertised that they only spoke arabic but we selected here as English was specifically written!

Parking did not look secure and it was round the back on sand and rocks. Damaged the car!

There was no kettle in the kitchen, which was dirty and unfinished, no cutlery, no cups, plates etc. There was no dishwasher, no towel initially supplied, no fans as advertised, no balcony, no 'clothes rack'.

The curtains were moldy, there was a disgusting rug on the floor, the beds were really hard, there was no sheets on the duvet on the beds it was just the inner fitting!

The bathroom had things sticking out the walls, there was no bath as advertised and the shower was next to the toilet with no curtain and no 'bidet' (not that we required one).

There was children running down the corridors till 4am! We had to ask their mothers to calm them down!

Fortunately we only stayed two nights and spent most of our holiday away from the hotel. A fellow guest had a 5 day booking and only stayed one night it was that bad.

Don't stay here.

It was my last minute plan to explore Salalah last weekend, and I had limited hotels to choose. I was in pursuit for a budget hotel at the center of Salalah. This hotel suited by criteria. It was located just opposite to KM trading, near to Sultan Qaboos Mosque. The room had a foul smell. It seems like it was not used and cleaned for few weeks. The bathroom lacked cleanliness and we requested for change of room. The second allotted room was at 7th floor. The room interior was better, but the bathroom lacked toiletries. Room service was utter disaster and they couldn't even provide iron for pressing the clothes. There is no value for money.
