Clean, Safe, Affordable!
Try the great dishes from Miguel, chat with the guys and enjoy the stay in a village covered with clouds 95% of the time.

What a Memorable Stay!

Such a good experience and cannot praise the guys at Stryn Hostel enough for being genuine, sincere and natural hosts - clear the place was being run with care and by some top people.

Though we stayed in more expensive/'swanky' hotels on this trip, I'll remember the stay at Stryn Hostel ahead of these other places, because the team at Stryn were lovely people and were running the hostel very very well, with a lot of care.

Bruno and Georgia offered good advice, introduced us to others who could make suggestions about the area and were generally really personable. We had an incredible evening meal at the hostel (make sure you eat there if you're going soon) and Bruno gave us a quick lesson in the history of tea. 

It was clear the guys had put in a lot of work and some lovely touches to the building. As we heard whilst visiting, the team were not going to be staying at the hostel much longer, so it's a shame, because it was clearly really going in the right direction.

With the team moving on very soon from the hostel, t I will be writing to their parent company (HI) because they deserve the chance to run another hostel.

Superb.

I had the chance to visit Stryn Hostel & Motel during my spring holidays in April. 
The room was excellent, clean and warm.  The hosts (Geo and Bruno) took excellent care of their guests. The food was  very nice as well and  the view from the hostel was excellent.

I would recommend Stryn Hostel and Motel to anyone who would like to visit Stryn and enjoy the Norwegean landscape.

Above my Expectations, Excellent Hospitality

I stayed at Stryn Hostel one night and I have to say the staff was very friendly and helpful,the room I stayed in was very clean and neat and the breakfast was a pleasant surprise!Also,the view is very beautiful (the hostel is located on a hill above Stryn).I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Stryn!

Excellent!

This is one of the most horrible places I stayed at. The "staff" was very unfriendly, disorganized, poor English.  The Mexican and Italian guys were all the time smoking at the meeting point, everyone would feel checked... this instead of cleaning the extremely dirty bathrooms and kitchen.
Everywhere had that nauseous odor, I still remember when I think back. And it was far from being cheap under these poor circumstances. The location was OK, but that was all... Breakfast was also very bad... and if you keep in mind that everything was prepared in such a dirty kitchen, you only want to throw up.
