We camped 1hr walk from the campground in a natural conservation area(Saevareidberget). Beautiful view and a stunning forrest (very special trees)! And alot of goats. Visited the restaurant a few times. Nice campingsite, it has everything you need, toiletfacilites, resturant/bar and a small grocery store. It has a good atmosphere, small and quiet yet it has all you expect from a bigger campground. And we saw a dolphin right on the shoreline(!). 

When I and my friends from travelling group had trip to Norway, we had stopped at the Kyrping Kamping. It was very nice place with comfortable houses on the bank of Norway Sea. We had a good time in this camping. The weather was very warm and we had swimming at the sea and fishing. From our house’s terrace had opened beautiful view on the mountains and sea, and each morning we can see dolphins and swans. I recommend this camping all of my friends which will visit this magical country.

i stayed here in middle august for 2 days in a big cabin wich was wonderful!
full of optional, clean, with minimal design but a touch of class.
The view from the house is amazing and there's a plenty of green space to enjoy a barbeque with friends or simply relax.
The camping is also not too far (1h more or less) from some main attraction of the zone like folgefonna park, trolltunga or stigfossen waterfall.
In the end i highly reccomend this place if you have planned a trip in this region of Norway

We used this camp site as our base to see most of the waterfalls along the road to Odda.The cabin was super spacious and offered a great view over the lake. It is quite out from the city so we were actually able to see some of the Northern lights that evening. The gas station and services are right up the road as well. The staff were nice allowing us to check in early from a early morning flight. We stayed in Cabin 2 at the top of the hill and it was just perfect for our family.

Stayed in cabin number 1. Very peaceful with beautiful views and well equipped.

Be aware that your bebding will cost extra.

Quality and cleanliness of pillows and quilts not great and the overall cleanliness of crockery not great either. Just a check of items before visitors check in would be beneficial.

The shop is expensive and don't think about shopping at the garage up the road. Find a Kiwi, they are much cheaper.

The fishing facilities were brilliant and a great location for exploring the fjords.

Nice stay. Would stay again but eould have to be in cabin 1 again and maybe bring my own bedding.

Avoid this camping!!!
The owners are totally incorrect. They make you pay some taxes not included in the price even for one night!!!30% more money than what was expected ! They are absolutely not Nice with the tourist. They only want to make some profit with the tourist!they are liars!!!

Totally incorrect owners

First of all, I write this for travellers to know that any option will be better than Kyrping Camping and there are options as you can see from other bad reviews of the place, which are almost half of the total amount when I write this in February 2017.
We were supposed to be in a cabin for one night and, on the way to it, there was a huge rain and we had a car accident so we had to sleep elsewhere since we could not arrive to the camping. We asked for comprehension of the owner, explaining the situation and hoping maybe for some price reduction or even not being charged with the cabin since we were not going to sleep there. The answer that we got from the place, concretely from Torleif, was: "I am very sorry for this. This was your unlucky day, not ours. We will have to charge your cabin." 
Then, when the charge came to our credit card, we were not only charged for the room, but for the bed linen that we reserved before having the accident and which we obviously did not use since we did not sleep in the camping. When we asked why they charged us for it, the Torleif said that they had to prepare the beds and remove the bedlinen before the next guest came, so they charged the whole price as if we had used the bedlinen and they had have to wash them.
We made an unsuccessful complaint to booking because everything that they charged was reserved.
It was not a matter of money since it is not much what you pay for a cabin. It is a matter of expecting more comprehension from people who work in tourism in a rich and developed country.
They will probably answer this opinion to justify themselves, if they even care about people's opinion about them. I don't care. I just want you traveller to be able to make your choice knowing what kind of attittude you can expect.
