My wife and I had 3 wonderful nights staying at the Hotel BonAparte in Lochem. We were on a mini tour of Europe visiting friends and decided en-route to stop here which was quite random, but it was handy for the trip into Germany from the UK. What a fantastic surprise the hotel was. We upgraded ourselves to a garden room during booking, and also the dinner, bed and breakfast option which included four course on the first night and three course dinner the other two evenings. On arrival the hotel was great, with welcoming and friendly staff. Our room was spacious, clean and well-appointed with the extra bonus of outdoor seating on a private terrace with views across the lawn and gardens. Both dinner and breakfast were fantastic with tasty options and a very good choice of wine from the friendly staff. The location of the hotel is great in the countryside just outside Lochem with excellent cycling and walking options in all directions. Both my wife and I are already working out our next trip across Europe and very much looking forward to our next visit to the Hotel BonAparte.
