The homestay was recommended to me. I had a very nice stay at Govinda’s homestay during a celebration week of the Bönpo Triten Norbutse Monestery, which is 7 minutes by walk near by. I highly recommend the homestay; the place is very quiet and peaceful, without the strong air pollution as KTM central, although near to Thamel. Rooms are very clean, rooftop with nice views. I had very tasty breakfast and dinner. Govinda helped me to manage a rebooking of a flight, what I would had never been able to do by myself! The family is very friendly and helpful.
