The house is in a great location, enough far from the noise of the city centre, 5 minutes away - with a wonderful view of the lagoon and a very nice garden.
The interior design is lovely too. 

There is a swimming pool (not easy for a woman to sunbath in oualidia elsewhere). 

The room was simple (liked the bed). But, it could have been better to have a little more privacy (the room was very close to the main living room) and a different wardrobe. 

The owners are very welcoming. 

Better to arrive during the day. The place is not easy too find at night!

Total relax in a great location! 

Beautifull view, nice pool. owners are very nice. But that's it.
We payed because of the photos.
Suite without the basics, no air conditioner or any kind of refrigeration, kitchen not well equipped, garden not arranged, the owners house (which is an extension of the suite) is under construction (...)
Price is absurd. And we reccomend to get information about the state of construction..
And temperature..

Price absurd.. The place is under construction (should not be accepting reservations).

Only nice things were the views on the lake and ocean, a nice fireplace in the living room and it is quiet because it is so remote.

Our cottage was not ready when we arrived and we had to wait about an hour for the water to heat up before we could take a much needed shower after a long day riding. It is in serious need of maintenance as there was damping and peeling paint everywhere. Especially the bathroom needs a proper cleaning. 
There was no coffee machine at all as indicated, only a plunger. The only TV is in the living room, nothing in the rooms. 
It is quite expensive compared to other places in Morocco. 
We booked through booking.com and the guesthouse is not close to where it was indicated to be. It is not in Oualidia but about 4.5km outside of the town so beware that you can't walk to town or any of the attractions.

Disappointed

We arrived on the 25.12. in the dark after following the gps coordinates by email and did not find the property, even neighbours did not know the “secret place”. No sign or hint on the road, no info on the entrance gate. Finally we called again and the housekeeper picked us up on the main road.
What we found for 120,- Euro a night was a very humid and badly maintained place at 14 degrees, colder than the outside. The central heating did not work, no fireplace. We explicitly had asked for a heating before booking, knowing the winter situation in these countries. We found a greasy kitchen, a lot of overpainted mold but no wardrobe or anything to hang our clothes or the towels in the bathroom. First thing was to do some cleaining ourselves but the bedclothes had stains, the cushion was uncomfortably hard and the kitchen had incomplete and useless cutlery, no pots. The overeager freezer turned out to frost everything we just had bought in the supermarket, there is no real shopping in the vicinity, maybe fruits and veggies. 
After the first night in a humid, cold bed we had our first look over the in deed beautiful landscape. 
However the dirty veranda with wet seat cushions was not inviting at all and had nothing to do with the pictures on the B-Site where we had booked the place.
If you come in winter the sun hardly shows up the whole day, also because of the shadowing trees, but you can sit by the outside pool.
We complained calling the owner and in the evening the caretaker, speaking neither French nor English, brought a mobile oxygen sucking gas stove, thinking this should be sufficient for the whole apartment. 
However after 3 days out of 8 we gave up feeling sick due to the mold and the humidity. After quite some hassle we were at least able to avoid paying the other 50%, the first one we had to pay upfront which we will never do again. We still lost hundreds of Euros trying to find a decent alternative at high season driving and phoning around. Be careful about the wine the friendly caretaker might bring as what you think is a free welcome drink. If things go wrong the owner might say you did not pay for it.
Trying to rate the stay afterwards on the B-site seems impossible, because the stay got marked as cancelled with changed dates, as if we were never there. Also take a close look at the official ratings, by who and when.
