We stayed here for 3 nights from 2nd of May2016 till 5th of May . The house /villa was beautiful and the room was first class and very clean and comfortable .We had been travelling through Morocco for 2 weeks and this was the best accommodation we had stayed in . The house is owned and run by a French couple and they were very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble for them . The swimming pool was great and the garden was lovely .The breakfast was the best breakfast we had in Morocco .We also had 2 evening meals cooked by our host and that was very nice .The accommodation is about 9 km from Essaouria but is a good base especially if you have a hire car . We were so impressed with the accommodation we are thinking of going back to stay there in November .

Fantastic place to stay beautiful property and friendly owners

We were in Essaouira and we could not find the place. When I called, a big 4x4 drove by and he told me that I have to follow him to Dar Macha.
We arrived at a very nice villa with a pool.
The owners were very happy to see us and they were very polite and social.
It feels that the villa is all yours.
In the morning we sat at the terrace in front of the pool and the woman brought breakfast for us.

We also had fun in the pool and made a lot of beautiful pictures.

I recommand this place to every body.

Best owners I ever met. Good room! Good house!

The room at Dar Macha is very modern and beautiful. Large with nice bed, good AC and fast WIFI.
The people were very welcoming and friendly. They came out to the main street to pick us up and dropped us off when we wanted to go into town.

Dar Macha is located out of town and if you have a vehicle is a great place to stay only 15 minutes from the Medina.

We did not have a vehicle so only stayed 1 of our 7 nights. When we told the owners we would only stay one night they were very understanding and only charged us for the one night. We were fully expecting to pay 2 or 3 or even the full 7 nights. They even gave us a ride all the way to the new hotel. Amazing people. Very happy with our night there and if we had had a vehicle we would have definitely stayed longer. A++
