Very friendly owner introduced to grandad etc. So helpful...steep stairs to floors but renovated to a very good standard....clean room, airy, but not so good out look.
Shared shower and toilet very clean . Take extra toilet paper as you know other people tend to use it all...would stay again for a night...

A night in essouira

The best about this hotel is the location, right in the city center. Other than that, it isn't super special. An extra point for Kabir, the young man working at the reception, who was extremely helpful during our stay.

Okay, but nothing special

The hotel offers a very good price/quality ratio. There is a wifi, hot shower, the rooms are spacious. The host is so much nice and helpful and speaks both English and French. 
The only but very big problem was we had bedbugs in our beds. I believe they are not in all rooms, but they were in room number 3. The host helped us move to another room during night and was sorry about our experience, but I am not really sure he will do something to solve the problem.

Fortunately it's located right by the heart of the medina and a short walk to the beach - also surrounded by amazing restaurants and bars. However, the interior and rooms are shabby and drab, and amenities like toilet paper and towels are non-existent. Having said that, there are decent showers and the guys working are quite nice and responsive (when they are present). Good wi-fi too. All in all, for the price and value, it is worth the stay, especially if you have a tight budget. If you want a comfortable and pleasant stay in Essaouira, choose a different place.

Good value, great location, mediocre otherwise

after arriving at 23:37 at night from along drive from agadir , the man in the reception have refused to give me a room , couse he sold it to other people , and he excuse it by calling my number , when i have not recieved no call , and tried to charge me for anther room that i have not booked , so for someone who will arrive late i would advice to not book in this hotel , instead i have had to look for another hotel at midnight , very dispointed

I like the Hotel Location in the heart of the Medina. kind Service  Reception, Clean Hotel.. I Love the View from the  hotel Roof. I enjoy the breeze coz the Hotel near to the sea about 3 or 4 min Walking .

Essaouira is my favorite city in Morocco 🇲🇦 & majestic is a hidden gem 💎 

For a very budget friendly price your getting a huge room that's cleaned daily, friendly hospitable staff, good wifi (in common areas). 2 separate lobbies. This is tallest building (aside from the mosque spires) in the medina which rewards you with the most spectacular panoramic view;  from the roof you can see the ocean, the city, the mountains, everything with no visual obstructions. 
This is a calm peaceful area inside the medina walls which gives you plenty of peace and quiet in the evenings. Yet there is plenty to see and do.  A multitude of shops and restaurants to please your palate no matter what you're craving.  From local fare to Italian, Japanese.. whatever you desire it's within a short walk.  The beach is not even 5 minutes walk.  

Some folks have complained in views of this hotel in regards to amenities, but all you have to do is ASK THE FRONT DESK!! They're extremely personable and accommodating. Do you need toilet paper? A towel? Glasses? Silverware? An ashtray? Ask them. They're happy to oblige (no extra charge!!) 

No, there's no television in the room. But you're on vacation. Why do you want to sit in front of a tv?  Anyway. They do have one in the lobby.  

They are also polyglots, I've heard English, French, Spanish, Darija, & standard Arabic.  Maybe Italian but I'm not sure on that one.  Just try.. they'll find a way to communicate with you! 

I highly recommend this place & ive stayed in several different hotels & roads throughout Essaouira.
