Well, apartments are still ok. Quite shabby, not very well maintained, but for the price is ok. 
The real problem is that the owner is trying to earn every penny and renting this place to locals for 1-night parties from dusk till dawn because this place is remote from the main cities.
You will get loud music, drunken people, etc. - the whole package. And these parties are illegal during this COVID period. But the owner sees no problem with that. You may be lucky and it will be no parties during your stay. Or not lucky. And when you decide to leave this place earlier because you can't sleep during the night, be ready to lose all your deposit, even it is the owner who made this staying impossible.

Poor guest experience

Booked this place via Secret Escape.  On arrival, Lou the receptionist was extremely welcoming .  She even help us with our cases to our apartment.  She gave some good advice i.e. When visiting Perast and Kotor,  to go early as these places get very busy.  Apartment was spacious and clean. The infinity pool is amazing

Great surrounding views

This holiday was booked via .Secret escapes, via explore Montenegro. The  room, B15 was looking over a tatty garden with a few shrubs, lots of weeds and a load of pebbles dumped in the middle. The overall view of a mountain. The outdoor room was unswept, and full of spiders. Not a place to really enjoy, a nice meal.

Inside the apartment, the bathroom had a bath with a hand shower that you couldn't stand under. The curtain was unable to contain any spray. They suggested that you have showers to save water, I suggest they put in a proper shower.  The towels were small and grey. No consumables, not even a bar of soap! The washing machine was handy, but remember to bring washing powder. Two loo rolls were supplied, but you had to buy more if needed!

The kitchen lacked any consumables which they did warn you about, but other apartments via Airbnb did have them. I object to buying washing up liquid, and haven't done so before in 40 years of travel. Even in hostels. The crockery was small and cheap. The bowls totally inadequate. Bring a dish cloth, and dishwasher powder.

The lounge had two sofa beds, that were stained and covered up by throws. Air conditioning was good and quiet, in both the lounge and bedroom.

The bedroom had a 5 foot bed, with  a small duvet and small pillows. The duvet barely  covered the width of the bed, and for two adults was not adequate. There was no spare linen, if one of you wanted to sleep in the lounge.

Lou the representative was brilliant and a great asset to the company. The pool was lovely and made up for the lack of view in our room. Just a shame about the tight budget that the company is obviously adhering to.

Shame about the consumables

It is quite simple to find the property especially with the detailed instructions we received. The apartments stand on a hill above the town of Morinj. Some have sea views. Our garden view apartment was one bed with a sofa bed in the lounge and a covered seating area into a small unmaintained garden. Shame, it could have been so much better. You need to bring your own toiletries, washing up liquid etc. if you're staying in B15. I believe some of the other rooms were better equipped.
The infinity pool is something else and I'd say the camera wasn't lying.The views are stunning. Yes the grass could have done with a cut but so could my own lawn after a week! No problem getting a sun lounger if that's your thing but get out there and see this area of Montenegro.

Lou in reception was excellent and an asset to the whole property. She organised a boat trip for us; obtained our mandatoryvisitor licences (£7 each) recommended restaurants (Konoba Catovica Mlini 10/10 ££££, Verige 65 10/10 ££ and Tremontana 4/10 - separate reviews); advised on when to go and where to park in Kotor, Perast and Herceg Novi. Undoubtedly one of the best travel advisors we have come across.

There is a small bar area which opens at 11am but that closes early evening. Parking at the property is easy. You can walk to the village via steps and the Mlini and Tremontana restaurants and a small supermarket are easily reached walking. The climb back up is quite steep and not to be recommended with a load of shopping.

Morinj is well placed for most of the tourist sights in the Boka bay area being no more than 30/40 minutes from most.

Not quite everything you need

Very nice and clean resort with everything you need. The highlight is the infinity pool with its marvelous view over the bay. The apartments are spacious and top clean with a well equipped kitchen. There is a reception and a little cafe. The stuff is very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic view

We booked an apartment via secret escapes. The views from the infinity pool of kotor  bay looked astoundingly beautiful, indeed they were however, with a trick of a wide- angled lens the pool was the size of my lounge, surrounded by derelict unkept land, broken bricks and cement. Don’t get me wrong, the views were beautiful but the fore ground is not what you see in the pics..very deceiving indeed.
Also, we had an apartment furthest away from the main pool area and on the other side overlooking the old houses on the hill and unkept land..not a good view...very disappointing indeed!
Take my advice, you will need a car as you’re forever climbing steep hills to get to the main Bay Area to eat.
Overall though, apart from a disappointing apartment And facilities area ( small shop, poor pool area), kotor is one of the most beautiful places we’ve been to. We even drove to Dubrovnik to see where Game of Thrones and star ward was filmed.

The camera did lie!

While we were setting on Kotor we have stayed @ lavender appartment hotel. The distance between Tivat airport and the apartment is not too far approximmetly 11 minutes. The natural landscapes from the airport to the appartment are fabulous. We have enjoyed the road and the instruction was clear to arrive directly to the appartment. The parking was bit of issue to us. But overall the apartment was clean, everything was available including the clean water to drink the mini market near the apartment the good location to view kotor and move among the city.
Just a small observation to the owner, the bed matrix need to be changed as they were not comfortable

Summer vacation in Kotor

We booked a week at Lavender Bay through Explore Montenegro via Secret Escapes and had a wonderful holiday from start to finish. It's an easy drive from Tivat airport made even easier by the wonderful driving instructions we received. Picking up the car was also a painless experience as our details had already been given to the hire company. 
Upon arrival we received a warm welcome but as it was getting dark couldn't appreciate the beauty of the place. We had a very spacious one bedroom apartment that was clean and bright.  There was a large kitchen/lounge and dining area with nice furniture and a decent size TV. Kitchen was reasonably well equipped but there was only a bottle of water in the fridge. It's also worth taking dish cloth, bin bags and dishwasher tablets etc as none of this is provided. The bedroom was air conditioned with large bed and huge mirror wardrobes. Bathroom was a good size but shower is weird and only suitable for people under 4ft! All very clean and new.
We had a balcony with comfortable patio furniture but sadly no view of the bay. Our apartment was towards the edge of the complex and there was some road noise.
The pool area is amazing with wonderful views across the bay. There's plenty of sun beds and parasols. There is a cafe/bar and the guy that runs it is lovely and brings your drinks up to the pool area.
The rep is a lovely lady called Lou who speaks excellent English and is really helpful and friendly. She ran an informative welcome meeting with lots of ideas where to go. She gave us maps and told us the best places to eat and park. She was so approachable and willing to help us get the most out of our holiday. She made restaurant reservations for us. 
There are 3 restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance but you do have to go down (and then back up) the hill. About 120 steps and a walk down a lane so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.
All in all a wonderful holiday at a great complex with superb views and great staff.

Amazing views

You have to go a long way to better the pool area at this property however there is a noise issue from dogs nearby.
The staff are lovely and the apartments spacious but bring some earplugs if you want to get any sleep.
Morinj is a wee gem.
