During our stay, we felt like we were at home. Owners paid close attention to our needs which made our vacation perfect.
It was also the most affordable option we could get at that time in Kotor. Ever since I am coming back to this place.

The most welcoming place

My stay at Art Rooms Dobrota couldn't have been better. The circumstances I came to stay there were unexpected for me, I left a place I couldn't stay in, thinking I'd found another for the following day in my low budget. But once I'd left the other place cancelled. I was in a tight spot. I. booked to stay here at Art Rooms for one night while I reviewed my options but didn't think it would be free for the rest of the month I'd planned to stay there. 
The room was spacious, bright, had air con (it was still really hot when I arrived and being Irish I thanked God for the A/C!) I had a big window and door facing the terrace where I could step out and sit for a view of the bay. The place is immaculately clean, always maintained to high standards and bathroom was almost always free whenever I needed it. A little kitchenette with all I could need too. 
It's about a 10 min glorious walk to old town along the sea and there are places to eat and drink along there too. 
I was so very blessed and lucky that I found this place that day because not only did they arrange for me to stay there for the whole month, but as my trip didn't go as planned in other ways too, the owners Milica, Zoran and their assistant Paulina were such comforting friendly people to come 'home' to every evening and say good morning to every day. Young Paulina was so helpful with suggestions, chats, a positive attitude, always smiling and excellent English. Zoran was good fun, giving me whiskey at 10am! And Milica is a lovely, kind and warm lady who liked to give me little gifts of Turkish coffee, fruit, biscuits, wine and snacks, without asking, just to be kind. I nicknamed her my Montenegrin mother (but I didn't tell her!). I feel I made friends here, was really warmly welcomed and this made all the difference to my solo trip. Highly highly recommended I can't wait to return!

My home away from home ❤️

Art Guesthouse is maybe 1.5 km away from city center of Kotor (Old Town), but you can walk there by seaside promenade, so it's not the problem. Room was very simple, just a bed, wardrobe, folding table, fan and maybe one square meter of free space. But room was also very clean. You can use bathrooms, which were also very clean, and a small kitchen. Don't hesitate to ask a guy on reception (I guess his name was Marko?) about good places in Kotor or Montenegro generally. He knows much about Montenegro history and many interesting facts in addition.
