This is a great boutique hotel with only three spacious rooms. It is located near the zocalo and the markets. There’s also a large jacuzzi tub for relaxing at the end of the day. There’s also a delicious breakfast included each day.

Location, location, location.

My wife and I stayed for a week. Our room was huge, we had a nice continental breakfast each morning and were able to get anywhere within the central historic distance within fifteen minutes. Our room was well-maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Great Lodging, well-located

I have stayed in Oaxaca a few times and I must say this place was very nice.  It was quite, clean and the staff were great!!!
I travel worldwide and stay in 4 or 5 star places each time and I am in hotels 8 times a month so I do have a reference to base this review on.
They were very helpful and the location of being right around the corner from the zocalo was great.  The breakfast was ok - 3.5 out of 5 but I was the only person staying there so I understand that they would not do a lot of different items.  Though the place could ask the client if they want fruit or cold cuts or what type of pastries they would prefer, this would cut down on their cost of buy a lot of different items that the client may not even want. I felt very secure because they lock the front door each night and there is someone there to help all night long if you need it. I will definitely be visiting this hotel again.

Only two large rooms. Buy 24 hr front desk service one block from center plaza. Walk everywhere very safe   Continental breakfast included. Free water.  Ac. Tv very nice rooms. I would recommend. Book early


Great place 

We are lucky that we usually get to travel the wold on an expense account and search out the finest hotels we can without having to worry about the expense. But recently business is not good so we're traveling on a tight budget. We were impressed to find the Marhialja Suites provided all the details and level of friendly service that we are used to at much more expensive hotels. From the many emails with tons of questions before we arrived to the entire stay the service was so personalized, warm and sincere we really felt like we were at home. Hiram is one of the owners and was on hand to help guide us to the best parts of the city and the surrounding areas. The suite was very large, clean and beautiful to wake up in and return to after a long day of exploring. The skylight offered an added romantic light to the room. Fresh cut flowers, huge bathroom, ample closet space, beautiful european breakfast with fresh fruit, coffee, tea and delicious local fresh breads.... Secure with round the clock person at the front desk (we did come in very late very night after celebrating dis dos muertos) We made a sincere friendship with the staff and Hiram and cannot wait to return. Whether we are on a budget or not- we would not think twice about staying anywhere else. It was like having our own private home with the added service of a concierge and chef. We cannot thank you enough for memories that will last a life time. (PS. the place is even prettier than the photos on their website- If I get time I will add some I took during our stay).
