Think l would like a refund and to actually talk to an agent about how bad we feel ..l wouldnt recommend this hotel .

This was the worst stay. Except for the morning breakfast which was amazing other condition of the hotel was not good.The hotel is in great location.At the reception there is a guy quiet young who was rude. The old guy was nice and respectfull.We were given a room which was interconnected to another room and it was quiet noisy. After we complained we were given a different room.The rooms does not look like how you see in picture we were disappointed.The only good part was the morning breakfast and the service provided by people in morning breakfast.

Fantastic! Inside pool was particularly great (used it to avoid sun) and the breakfast had cooked food as well as continental. Previous reviewers seemed to have had a different experience to us as we were really impressed with food on offer. Have travelled the world and stayed in so many hotels and this place is up there with many. Whole holiday 10/10. Malta is wonderful.

I have nothing but words of praise for this hotel...Stuff, service, interior, food, spa... I really cant decide what is better.One of the best experiences and vacation ever! Once again huge thank you everyone from Alexandra hotel, hope to see you again.All recommendations!

Great location for food and social experiences! Lots to do and see in St Julians area Pool needs some love!

Location was fine. The whole place was undergoing a How to become a Ruin project. Bad customer service, poor state of the room, no attention to details.  Mediocrity at its best.

Breakfast was good, but unfortunately i booked for my boyfriend birthday and was prior booking i requested for some petals on bed which they agreed to do but nothing was done. Took long to check in as our room was not ready. Checked in and tv was not working. Floor not clean. Found no sheets had to ask for it. Technician came and at least tv was repaired. Thought the hotel was better.

Disappointed

First the good stuff. Nice rooftop pool and great views of they bay. Four elevators available for a 7 floor property which makes Covid distancing feasible. Overall great Covid measures everywhere including the breakfast restaurant where nothing is self-serve. Breakfast had plenty of choices but do not expect the quality / taste you generally get in Europe. Terrible hard mattresses, tired sheets, threadbare discolored towels. Combine that with poor soundproofing and all night noise from the outdoor bars on the narrow street, don't expect to get any restful sleep. The air-conditioning was not keeping up. There was an outdated looking temperature control that didn't seem to do anything. The flat screen TV is the size of a computer monitor. If you have any issues with your booking, good luck. The front desk will intentionally give you the run around (the back office is closed, the manager hasn't called back yet..). There are much better hotels in the general area in the same price range eg: ST Azure in Sliema where we spent the other half of our stay in Malta. In summary, keep away from this hotel. I hope Hotels.com / Expedia removes this property from their sites, as they lie to their agents as well.

Room was totally different to the one we booked, small and dark. Staff were very unfriendly. Would not stay here again.
